Republican Matt Gaetz continues to make the case that he is a rising star with yet another epic performance during Thursday’s sham impeachment hearings.
The Florida congressman has been a thorn in the side of Democrats with his refusal to fall in line and he may have just outdone himself by going the throat and bringing up the sordid history of Joe Biden’s scoundrel of a son.
During testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Gaetz questioned why it was that Hunter Biden was able to land a high paying gig with the corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings given his history of drug abuse.
Gaetz cited an article from ultra-liberal New Yorker magazine to question young Biden’s character and his admitted addiction to crack cocaine.
🔥 ABSOLOUTE SAVAGE 🔥 @MATTGAETZ goes on a rampage against Hunter Biden.
Notes that Hunter:
– Smoked crack
– Snorted cocaine
– Solicited more crack in homeless shelter
– Took foreign bribesAnd THIS was the guy Ukraine paid $million$ to for his “experience” & "knowledge"?! pic.twitter.com/nnjOdvOjok

Via The Washington Examiner, “‘Cocaine and a crack pipe in the car’: Matt Gaetz laments Hunter Biden’s drug misadventures”:
Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted Democrats for brushing off concerns about Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Burisma, given his controversial past.
“An essential element of the Democrats’ case on abuse of power is that the Bidens did nothing wrong,” the Florida Republican said during the hearing. “It can only be an abuse of power and not a correct use of power if the president was pursuing something under which there was no reasonable basis to ask a question about Hunter Biden and Burisma. Hunter Biden and Burisma, well, that’s an interesting story. And I think just about every American knows there’s something up with that.”
Gaetz continued by detailing some of the drug abuse that has followed Biden over the past decade. He referenced a New Yorker profile that detailed the vice president’s son combing a homeless shelter in search of cocaine. He also included details of when Biden left a crack pipe in a car rented from Hertz, which led to Biden’s discharge from the Navy.
“I don’t want to make light of anybody’s substance abuse issues,” he said. “I know the president’s working real hard to solve those throughout the country. But it’s a little hard to believe that Burisma hired Hunter Biden to resolve their international disputes when he could not resolve his own dispute with Hertz rental car over leaving cocaine and a crack pipe in the car.”
It was as brutal as it was relevant to the entire bogus case against President Trump with the phone call between the POTUS and Ukraine’s new president about the corruption that the Bidens wallowed in serving as the crux of the impeachment.
More from The New Yorker profile on Hunter Biden:
One night, outside a club on Hollywood Boulevard, Hunter and another man got into an argument, and a group of bouncers intervened. A friend of one of the bouncers, a Samoan man who went by the nickname Baby Down, felt sorry for Hunter and took him to Mel’s Drive-In to get some food, and to his hotel to pick up his belongings. Early on the morning of October 26th, Baby Down dropped Hunter off at the Hertz rental office at Los Angeles International Airport.
Hunter said that, at that point, he had not slept for several days. Driving east on Interstate 10, just beyond Palm Springs, he lost control of his car, which jumped the median and skidded to a stop on the shoulder of the westbound side.
He called Hertz, which came to collect the damaged car and gave him a second rental. Later, on a sharp bend on a mountainous road, Hunter recalled, a large barn owl flew over the hood of the car and then seemed to follow him, dropping in front of the headlights. He said that he has no idea whether the owl was real or a hallucination.
Now THAT is one hell of a story…
