Trump Campaign Hauls In $10 Million In Donations After Impeachment Vote

The democrats’ impeachment/coup plan was ill-conceived from the beginning but there’s definitely but a lot of unintended consequences. President Trump’s approval rating is up and in fact higher than Obama’s at the same point of his presidency. Also, since the democrats voted to impeach Trump, his campaign hauled in $10 million in donations. If I didn’t know better I’d say Pelosi and Schiff are secretly working for the President’s reelection campaign, but since I do know better, they are just idiots.

Here’s some blockbuster numbers from The Hill:

An official for President Trump’s 2020 campaign said Friday that it has raised $10 million over the course of two days following the historic impeachment vote in the House this week.

“Wednesday and Thursday…after the actual vote, we raised $10 million in small-dollar donations on-line. That’s just in 48 hours, so two days, $5 million dollars a day,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh.

And what exactly accounts for this record haul? Well, democrats:

“Every time the Democrats in the media go into a frenzy like they did on Wednesday with the vote, we collect more data, we have greater interaction with the voters, and we raise more money. The President’s reelection campaign gets bigger and stronger,” Murtaugh added.

The democrats may want to pay attention to this next line:

“That’s what impeachment has done to the President’s supporters. They energized them in a way I didn’t think was necessarily possible to have the President’s supporters more energized then they already are but Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff and the democrats have done exactly that,” said Murtaugh.

Just imagine how well President Trump will do if the democrats ever get around to actually transmitting the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

Now compare that to Bernie Sanders pathetic fundraising that he’s damn proud of:

Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) presidential campaign announced it raised more than $1 million Thursday, the day of the final primary debate of the year.

The campaign said in a statement the amount marked his best debate-day haul so far, with the funds coming from tens of thousands of contributions.

“A lot of candidates on the debate stage last night worked hard to convince voters that our leaders must rely on super PACs funded by the wealthy and gather big checks in wine caves to beat Donald Trump in 2020. Bernie Sanders is proving them wrong every single day,” said campaign diversity-hire Faiz Shakir.

Trump pulled in $10 million after being impeached and Sanders thinks he’s going to beat him with a million bucks from slacker millennials, shut-ins, and the unemployable? Also, Sanders should note that Trump’s major haul was from small donations, not super PACs.

And while we are on the subject, who are these people who keep donating to Bernie Sanders? Generally speaking his base of support comes from people who don’t work and want him to be president so they can continue to not work. Where are they getting money to donate to his campaign? Can you make a political contribution with an EBT card? If so, we should end that immediately.

Democrats know they can’t beat President Trump in 2020, which is why the impeached him in the first place. What they didn’t expect is that impeachment has only made Trump stronger and and this publicity stunt has guaranteed his landslide reelection.
