Monday Morning Breakfast For The Brain

It’s Monday and the week before Christmas when Democrats are going to fill everyone’s stockings with their impeachment horseshit.

When Hate Becomes an Agenda

Via American Greatness

Trump so infuriated his opponents that, rather than find arguments to convince a majority of Americans that the president’s policies were flawed, his enemies instead sought to destroy him.

When a party, an ideological movement, and an entire political agenda is based on hatred, people and policies become warped. The left-wing loathing of Trump has now tainted almost every Democrat’s agenda and unhinged most of the party’s major players.

Impeachment has turned into a cruel caricature of a rare constitutional remedy for presidential criminality. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report proved a compendium of FBI lying, fraud, and vendetta. There is not a single prominent figure in Horowitz’s lengthy report who has not left a written or video trail of anti-Trump bias (James Comey, Peter Strozk, the Ohrs, Lisa Page, Kevin Clinesmith) or has had some sort of questionable financial relationship with the Clintons or their affiliates (Alexander Downer, Andrew McCabe).

Meanwhile, the progressive presidential field is in a sort of collective meltdown, as candidates begin recalibrating and trading accusations as they fear their own early anti-Trump agendas have little public support.

The prior subtext to impeachment—if not smeared or stopped, Trump will win in 2020—was spoken only by hardcore leftists like U.S. Representatives Alexander Green (D-Texas) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). Now it is shamelessly voiced by leaders in the party such as Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), with the twist of fears that Trump will “rig the election” (after Special Counsel Robert Mueller, of course, found that he had not done so in 2016, and Horowitz found that Trump’s campaign aides were largely targeted by the FBI and CIA hierarchy) unless he is impeached.

Again, the common denominator in all these catastrophes is an existential hatred of Donald Trump—his person, his family, his successes, his agenda, and his supporters. The two writs for impeachment are simply: 1) We loathe Trump 2) He will sabotage our agenda if we don’t impeach and remove him.

The Congressional Black Caucus’ Impeachment Sham Hurts Blacks

Via Town Hall

During a week when American workers have hope with the coming United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and a phase one trade deal with China driven by President Trump, key leaders of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) are driving to restore the status quo of anemic wages and high unemployment to their communities back home by attempting to unseat Trump, the only president in recent history to move the economic needle for blacks in America.

While Congresspersons Karen Bass, Al Green, and Maxine Waters, to name a few leaders of the Congressional Black Caucus, push their impeachment sham against President Trump with great pride, they put their politics over the needs of the black families and communities they represent who are positively benefitting from the Trump administration’s policies.

Let’s assume for a moment that their farce results in the removal of President Trump.  By all accounts, the Republican-controlled Senate will not vote to convict and therefore remove the president.  However, the agenda being pushed by the members of the CBC must be exposed.

President Trump has been good for black Americans who will vote for him in unprecedented numbers come November 2020. Recent polling shows “black likely voter” support for Trump is as high as 34.5 percent as of November 23, 2019. Blacks are experiencing unprecedented quality of life gains and their CBC representatives are panicking. While 34.5 percent may not represent what the president will actually get from the black community in 2020, anything in excess of 15 percent will devastate the Democratic Party. That is, in part, why they must impeach the president.

Seattle Hires Transgender Stripper To Perform At Homeless Strategy Conference

Via The Seattle Times

The director of King County’s coordinating agency for homelessness is on paid leave following a dancer’s strip show at the agency’s annual conference on Monday.

Performer Beyoncé Black St. James danced topless in a sheer bodysuit, gave lap dances and kissed attendees, according to a staffer at a local housing nonprofit who attended the conference in South Seattle.

Kira Zylstra, organizer of the conference at South Seattle College, has been placed on leave as of Thursday, according to Denise Rothleutner, chief of staff for the King County Department of Community and Human Services.

The department declined to comment further because of the active investigation, Rothleutner said in the email. Zylstra was not available for comment. Her suspension was first reported by journalist Erica C. Barnett on her website.

Zylstra has led All Home, King County’s coordinating agency homeless services, since January 2018. But her job could soon become obsolete as Seattle and King County prepare to replace All Home, which has been criticized as weak and ineffective, with a new regional authority on homelessness. Zylstra was paid about $123,000 a year, according to a county spokesperson.

The performance was in the same room as a catered lunch at All Home’s annual conference, this year at South Seattle College with the theme of “Decolonizing our Collective Work.”

The only note on the agenda was “Lunch with Cultural Presentation,” and there was no other warning or announcement about the nature of the performance, according to the staffer, who was surprised but not uncomfortable with the performance.

Portland State to offer ‘Queer Ecologies’ course to study ‘Queer Animals’ and ‘Queering Science’

Via The Blaze

Other classes include ‘Queer Feelings’ and ‘Ecofeminist Spirituality’

Starting in January, students at the public Portland State University will be able to take WS 375U Queer Ecologies, “Rethinking the Nature of Nature.” The class promises to use “a queer lens to understand bodies, places and the environment,” according to a flyer advertising the course that was shared on Twitter.

Students who take the class will have a chance to “explore how gender, sexuality, queer experience and identity intersect with race, class, disability, and settler colonialism to construct bodies and places as ‘natural’ and the role that science plays in defining ‘nature.'”

The course is taught by Lisa Weasel, Ph.D. She is the author of “Contagious Intersectionalities: Race, Class and Gender in the Post-Genomic Era,” which according to her biography, “seeks to re-evaluate the role that the natural sciences can play in resolving the longstanding tensions between the social and the material within feminist theory.”

Weasel and a colleague also authored the 2002 article “From Social Construction to Social Justice: Transforming How We Teach about Intersexuality” in the Women’s Studies Quarterly Journal. This year, she taught a class titled “Queer Feelings.”

Man accused of stealing $88,000 from bank where he worked arrested after posing with money, posting photos on social media

Via The New York Daily News

Don’t flash the cash.

Arlando Henderson was arrested by the FBI on Dec. 4 and charged with financial institution fraud and related charges — based off Henderson’s greenback-laden Instagram post.

Henderson, a former bank employee from Charlotte, N.C., was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $88,000 in cash from the bank where he was employed, according to a statement released Friday by the United States Attorney’s Office Western District of North Carolina.

According to the allegations contained in the indictment, which was unsealed earlier this week in federal court, the 29-year-old man had access to the vault at the unnamed financial institution where he worked.

On at least 18 occasions in 2019 he stole cash from deposits made by the bank’s customers from the vault, and then deposited some of it in a nearby ATM.

Authorities say Henderson used the stolen money for his personal expenses and to “to make a large cash down payment on a luxury vehicle,” the statement read.

Henderson also made a $20,000 cash down payment on a 2019 Mercedes-Benz, according to the indictment, and obtained a car loan for the remaining balance from another a different bank, “by providing false information and falsified documents, including falsified bank statements.”
