Liberals have long tried to claim that good guys with guns can’t possibly stop bad guys with guns or save lives. That bogus narrative took a hit yesterday when a brave armed parishioner stopped a potentially devastating mass shooting at a Texas church. Rather than admit they were wrong, liberals are naturally disgusted at the armed hero because he robbed them of a high body count they could exploit to push their unconstitutional gun control agenda.
Texas recently passed legislation that would allow people to carry firearms in, among other places, churches and places of worship and it’s a good thing they did. On Sunday at a church outside of Fort Worth, a maniac opened fired killing two innocent people. The loss of life would have certainly been much higher but Jack Wilson, a firearms instructor, was also at the church and carrying a gun. Within seconds, Wilson took out the shooter and saved dozens, if not more, lives.
Let’s start with Joe Biden, who back in September said the Texas law allowing people to carry firearms in houses of worship was a terrible idea:

“It is irrational, with all due respect to the governor of Texas, it’s irrational what they’re doing,” said Biden of the Texas law. “Every day, you see a mass shooting…and we’re talking about loosening access to have guns, be able to take be able to take them into places of worship?”
Doesn’t Biden ever get tired of being wrong? I guess he would if he could remember what he said 5 seconds ago.
Former democratic party “rockstar” Beto O’Rourke was also very disappointed that the Texas gun law helped mitigate a potential catastrophe:
So saddened to hear about another church shooting in Texas, this one in White Settlement near Fort Worth. Clearly what we are doing in Texas, what we are doing in this country, when it comes to guns is not working. https://t.co/krwcpL1lih

What the hell is he talking about? The Texas gun law allowed a volunteer church goer to be armed, which in turn stopped a mass shooting. That’s working about as well as something could possibly work. Perhaps the slacker doofus is upset that there wasn’t a mass shooting so he could drop F-bombs and threaten to take legally-owned guns away from law-abiding people.
The worst possible take on this comes from the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, who were positively sickened that an armed citizen stopped the carnage with a firearm:
The NRA extends our deepest sympathies to the victims and families of the TX church shooting. We would also like to thank Jack Wilson for his heroic actions. Jack is a hero. America is great because of selfless patriots like Jack. Thank you, Jack. Your courage saved many lives. pic.twitter.com/HJCxWrbleL

The @NRA’s celebration of a church shootout is grotesque. https://t.co/8hOOZZHO6T

Grotesque? This brave man saved lives. The NRA isn’t celebrating the killer, they’re praising the man who stopped him. Once again this liberal anti-gun group is butthurt because they were robbed of a huge number of casualties that they could exploit for their horrible gun control agenda.
Not that we needed any reminding, but all of this adds up to: liberals are the worst people on the planet. They want to disarm the good people, leaving only criminals with guns. They are on the side of evil.
Good guys with guns really do stop bad guys with guns and it happened in Texas on Sunday. The other important thing to note is that good guys (Republicans) can stop bad guys (democrats) with laws that support our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms, at least in some parts of the country.
