Tulsi Gabbard Sues Hillary Clinton In $50 Million ‘Russian Asset’ Defamation Suit

Those pantsuits aren’t the only ugly suits Hillary Clinton has to deal with. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just dropped a $50 million defamation lawsuit on Hillary for an interview the former first lady gave calling the Hawaii democrat a “Russian Asset.” Clinton is about to find out what difference, at this point, it makes and she won’t be able to make this go away by wiping it with, like a cloth. There’s still a possibility Gabbard could be Jeffrey Epsteined, but for now it looks like Hillary is in deep doo doo.

Back in October 2019, Hillary did an interview in which she suggested Tulsi Gabbard was being groomed by the Russians to steal the 2020 election away from the democratic party nominee:

“I think they’ve got their eye somebody who’s currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far,” said. Hillary.

Everybody knew Hillary was referring to Tulsi Gabbard and in a subsequent interview she confirmed it. When asked straight-up if she was calling Gabbard a Russian asset, Hillary responded, “If the nesting doll fits,” in reference to Russian dolls.

Fox News reports that Gabbard has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Hillary:

Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii is accusing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of deliberately spreading false accusations that Gabbard is a Russian asset in a lawsuit seeking upwards of $50 million in damages.

During an October 2019 interview with the podcast Campaign HQ With David Plouffe, Clinton suggested the 2020 presidential candidate was “the favorite of the Russians” and “a Russian asset.” Gabbard insists these statements have no grounds in reality, and that Clinton knew or should have known this at the time.

“Rather than facts or reliable evidence, Clinton’s basis for the Defamatory Statements was one or both of: (a) her own imagination; or (b) extremely dubious conspiracy theories that any reasonable person (and especially Clinton, a former United States Senator and Secretary of State) would know to be fanciful, wholly unverified, and inherently and objectively unreliable,” said the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.

Gabbard already has a rock-solid case because Hillary actually said this, but the lawsuit goes further, providing a malicious motive:

As for why Clinton would make such statements, Gabbard claims Clinton has “a unique, personal connection to Tulsi that animates her hostility towards Tulsi and her presidential campaign.”

The lawsuit claims that this stems from when Gabbard supported Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the 2016 Democratic primary. Gabbard, who was the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee at the time, was the most high-profile member of Congress to support Sanders as he ran against Clinton.

“Clinton was extremely angry—to put it mildly—that Tulsi endorsed Senator Sanders over her,” the lawsuit says, citing communications Gabbard claims she received from Clinton’s representatives saying that her team “no longer trust[s] [Tulsi’s] judgment.” Gabbard also alleges that she was told “that the Clinton team would never forget this slight.”

The complaint states that “agents” for Clinton let Gabbard know they would not assist Gabbard in her campaigns.

“These agents then forwarded this correspondence to Huma Abedin (Clinton’s closest aide) and John Podesta (chairman of Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign) to gloat about the beatdown they felt they delivered on Tulsi, writing ‘Hammer dropped!'” the complaint says.

The greatest part about the lawsuit is it starts out with a sick burn on Hillary Clinton:

“Tulsi Gabbard is running for President of the United States, a position Clinton has long coveted, but has not been able to attain,” reads the suit.

Ouch.

Considering Hillary made these “Russian asset” accusations publicly, it’s an open-and-shut case. Hillary’s only hope is to prove that Gabbard really is a Russian asset, but Clinton has been trying to show Russian malfeasance for 3 years now and she’s got nothing. And for once, Hillary might actually be held accountable for her horribleness.

In the meantime, Tulsi should beef up her security and raise her level of situational awareness. People have been “disappeared” and “suicided” crossing the Clintons for much less.
