If someone was stabbed to death for holding liberal views, that would be big news. If a black person was beaten to death by a white guy that would be even bigger news. In small news: a man was stabbed to death for having pro-Trump opinions and a white guy was beaten to death by a black guy for having the wrong skin color. Neither of these stories gained much, if any, national media attention, but clearly that’s because they don’t fit the narrative that President Trump has inspired a wave of hate against minorities.
First, there’s this disturbing murder in Florida as reported by the Orlando Sentinel:
The fatal stabbing of a construction manager near Florida’s Turnpike Monday may have been prompted by an argument between the manager and his employee over politics, according to an affidavit for the employee’s arrest.
The employee, 28-year-old Mason Toney, was taken into custody on a murder charge following an hours-long search for him. He is accused of killing his boss, William Knight, 28, with a trowel shortly after the two arrived at work…
Coworkers who witnessed the killing told authorities Toney and Knight are friends and drove to work together Monday morning.
Shortly after they all began working, about 10:30 a.m., witnesses said they heard Knight yelling for help. When they ran toward him, they saw Toney standing over him as he lay on the ground, Detective Fabian Ramirez wrote in the affidavit. Toney was “repeatedly stabbing him with a trowel,” according to the witnesses.
The witnesses began throwing things at Toney to get him to stop, but he then “began to advance on them with what they thought was a knife,” Ramirez wrote in the affidavit. Toney fled the scene in a vehicle belonging to Lane Construction Corporation.
The witnesses told investigators Knight and Toney were in an argument on their way to work, “possibly over being anti-government,” Ramirez wrote in the affidavit.
And as for what that political argument may have been…
They said the men have opposing political views: Toney is “anti-government and very outspoken about his beliefs that the government is bad and out to get him” and Knight “is a proud and outspoken American and is pro Donald Trump,” Ramirez wrote.
As Toney drove away after the stabbing, he yelled out to the other employees, calling them “terrorists,” the witnesses alleged.
Next to Knight’s body deputies discovered a brand new American flag, the packaging for which was lying nearby, Ramirez wrote. The witnesses told deputies they had seen Toney carrying a backpack that morning, which they thought was “unusual.”
The killer stabbed his boss and friend to death over pro-Trump views and then mocked his beliefs with an American flag. Is there any question that this was a politically-motivated hate crime or that the killer is a fairly average Bernie Bro?
Next, we stay in Florida for this racially-motivated hate crime as reported by WTSP:
Details in the arrest warrant filed in the Pinellas County court system in the case of a well-known St. Pete man — who was found beaten to death — paint a picture of a brutal attack that was possibly motivated by racism.
According to the state attorney’s office, “The suspect is heard making numerous racial epithets indicative of a hate crime.”
An arrest warrant says that surveillance video shows that Scott “Scotty” Jenks pleaded for Kristoff King to stop beating him for an hour and 19 minutes, while King allegedly refused saying “F**k you! F**k your white life! White mother f****r. Don’t treat me like a street n*****. I could shoot you. You wanna die on the ground?”
Yes, you read that correctly. King, who is black, beat Jenks, who is white, for almost an hour and a half, killing him. The black scumbag then robbed the dead white man.
Making this even more insane, apparently the victim and killer were friends:
Investigators reported that is Jenks repeatedly heard saying “No! Please stop! Stop! I’m sorry!” Followed by sounds of him crying out and groaning in pain.
Jenks reportedly said, “Kris I love you. We are friends. I love you. Kris, don’t do this. You are my friend. You are my friend.”
King was arrested and charged with first degree murder, but no hate crime enhancement. Ditto goes for the the other guy who stabbed his pro-Trump boss to death: murder but no hate crime.
You probably won’t see these stories on the network news or in the pages of the major newspapers but you will hear plenty about how President Trump is enabling racists, causing an epidemic of hate crimes. How Trump is making leftists and minorities kill white/conservative people is anyone’s guess, but I’m sure the liberal media is working on that as we speak.
