You’d think after getting his ass kicked so many times by President Trump that Jim Acosta would just stay down and avoid the embarrassment. CNN’s White House correspondent however has no shame or sense of defeat and challenged the President again. Like all battles before, Acosta went down with a flying front-kick to the face after he called Trump a liar. It’s almost like he forgets that he works for fake news CNN.

President Trump was in India and Jim Acosta went halfway around the world to make an ass of himself on a different continent. Acosta asked Trump a really long two-part and unconnected question, but it was the first part where the fireworks were:
“Mr. President…Can you pledge to the American people that you will not accept any foreign assistance in the upcoming election?” Acosta asked.
Really?
“First of all, I want no help from any country, and I haven’t been given help from any country. If you see what CNN, your wonderful network said, I guess they apologized in a way. Didn’t they apologize for the fact that they said certain things that weren’t true? Tell me, what was their apology yesterday? What did they say?” Trump asked in return.
“Mr. President, I think our record on delivering the truth is a lot better than yours sometimes,” Acosta shot back.
“Your record is so bad that you ought to be ashamed of yourself. You have probably the worst record in the history of broadcasting,” Trump responded.
Here’s the thing, CNN did have to retract a story last week in which they claimed Russia was actively assisting Trump in the upcoming election. It turned out to be not true and one of the bylines on the original story read the name: Jim Acosta.
Acosta respond to Trump by proclaiming, “I am not ashamed.”
No shit, Sherlock. If Acosta had any shame or integrity he would be embarrassed as hell by pushing out fake news, but instead he thinks it’s “journalism” to accuse the President of the United States of lying based on a lie he promoted.
Even Acosta’s attempted takedown of Trump was pathetic. He said basically that CNN sometimes lies less than Trump, which is an accidental admission that most fo the time his network is completely full of shit. He’s not wrong about CNN being liars, but failed to make his case that Trump wasn’t telling the truth.
Jim Acosta went all the way to India to get flattened by Trump. I suspect the President was itching for this fight because he actually called on Acosta, which he doesn’t normally do. Usually Acosta has to yell his insane questions at inappropriate times as President Trump is walking away.
This latest Trump beatdown of Jim Acosta was so thorough he didn’t even post one of his famous “Dear Diary” tweets complaining how the President was mean to him. I’m sure it’s something he’d like to forget, plus he doesn’t want to draw any more attention to the utter bullshit his network regularly reports and then has to walk back.
