The entire liberal media was calling it the “Chinese coronavirus” or the “Wuhan coronavirus” until Republicans started using these terms and then they became suddenly racist. Because being liberal means being full of shit, anti-Asian super-racist Stephen Colbert thinks President Trump is all kinds of racist against Asians by calling it the “Chinese virus.” It’s nice to know that even in this time of crisis the liberal rules of BS still exist and things are only bad when Republicans do them.
Colbert feels like what he does is so important that he can’t just stop working like millions of Americans have been forced to do, so he’s doing his show from his own back yard. In this bit, he is very angry with President Trump for calling the Chinese virus exactly what it is:
“Now we’ve all been calling it ‘coronavirus’ or ‘COVID-19’ but Trump’s been tooting his dog whistle pretty hard by calling it ‘Chinese virus,’” said Colbert.
Colbert then showed a clip of President Trump saying it was “a very accurate term” to call it the Chinese virus.
“No it’s not. It’s a very racist term,” Colbert said.
This is coming from a guy who used to do a character on Comedy Central named “Ching-Ching Ding-Dong.” Have a look:
“I ruv tea, it’s so good for you! You so pretty American girl, you come here, you kiss my tea, make all sweet. I no need no sugar when you around. Come on my rickshaw, I give you ride to Bangkok!” Colbert mocked with a bad Asian accent.
If Trump accurately describing the coronavirus by its place or origin is a racist dog whistle, what sort of racist air-raid siren is Ching-Chong Ding-Dong? That’s a trick question because everyone know liberals can’t be racist as per the rules they made up.
Colbert was not alone in being this full of shit. Fat pig Rosie O’Donnell was live tweeting President Trump’s coronavirus press conference and also took offense at the “racism” of proper terminology:
