Only Trump can save us from the media pandemic

The China-caused coronavirus is sweeping the globe, and America’s journalists are losing their minds. In fact, they are dangerously out of control, a Washington Free Beacon analysis discovered.

The virus is starting to spread among members of the White House press corps. But even that doesn’t explain the media’s hysterical aggrievement in response to the crisis, which China’s communist government could have dramatically curtailed, but didn’t. Now they’re essentially accusing him of murder because an Arizona couple decided to ingest aquarium cleaner.

When they aren’t complaining about the indignity of being forced to work from home without a comfortable office chair, journalists have been conducting “analysis” suggesting the president wants U.S. media to behave more like China’s. For reasons unknown, U.S. media have been doing just that all on their own, at least when it comes to regurgitating Chinese propaganda.

CNN and NBC, for example, were recently cited by Chinese state-run media in an effort to downplay China’s responsibility for the pandemic. The nerds at Vox published a piece on “How the US stacks up to other countries in confirmed coronavirus cases” that doesn’t mention China once. CNN in particular has been eager to promote authoritarian propaganda, even if it means shilling for Vladimir Putin, enemy of the anti-Trump “resistance.”

The media’s early coverage of the coronavirus outbreak was rife with efforts to downplay its seriousness, a message Chinese authorities were eager to promote as well. The Washington Post published multiple pieces attempting to reassure Americans that the virus was no worse than the flu, warning against an “aggressive government response” to the outbreak. Vox tweeted on Jan. 31: “Is this going to be a deadly pandemic? No.” The tweet was deleted this week because it “no longer reflects the reality of the coronavirus story.”

Even naming the source of the virus drives journalists over the edge. In late January, the New York Times was tweeting updates on the spread of the “Wuhan virus.” By March, the once-storied publication was calling Republicans “racist and xenophobic” for using that term. At the same time, most media outlets were denouncing Trump’s decision to ban travel from China as ineffective and racist—echoing former vice president Joe Biden’s attack on the president’s “hysterical xenophobia.” Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health recently praised the travel ban for helping the United States avoid a more disastrous outbreak like the one seen in Italy. But what does he know? He’s not a journalist.

To the surprise of no one outside the media bubble, the American people are slightly more inclined to trust President Trump than the media to provide accurate information on the coronavirus, according to a recent poll from CBS News. Trump’s approval rating is at an all-time high, and a majority of Americans approve of his handling of the coronavirus outbreak. Accordingly, our nation’s journalists responded by lashing out at the American people.

It Begins – Cheesecake Factory Tells Landlords Nationwide They Will Not Pay Rent April 1st…

Think about this… How weak and tenuous does a corporate financial position need to be such that being closed for one week means informing all nationwide landlords of your inability to pay the rent next week?

This is one small example; however, it is an opportunity to imagine the beginning of a process were Blue team corporations start to tell Red team financiers they are refusing to pay their debts.

Expand the mindset to individuals… dependent democrats (blue team), and social justice activists, assemble to tell landlords (red team) they will not pay the rent. It’s going to take off like wildfire.

Can you imagine the size of the smile on Bernie Sanders face if this level of social turmoil were to begin on a national scale?

Think about it…. Very carefully.

The blue team tells auto-lenders we won’t make the car payment etc. It is a social upheaval that starts small, most dismiss it, but it spreads through the “social justice” and “resistance” community just like the coronavirus itself.

Washington DC Mayor Bowser Closes U.S. Capital Until April 25th…

Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser closes the nation’s capital until April 25th, effectively closing all public gatherings for one month.

There is a certain aspect to dèjá-vu showing up on the horizon… Welcome to an economic civil war. But first, the latest details.

On the horizon it appears the state and regional shutdowns are going to mirror the shutdowns from Obama’s infamous sequester-fiasco from the spring of 2013. That looks like the road-map that will be followed as the coronavirus issue starts to level-off.

Blue state governors, mayors and local officials will use the $2 trillion bailout funding scheme to keep their economies shut down as long as possible and inflict as much political damage as possible. Meanwhile we’ll likely see red state governors, mayors and officials start to reopen their local economies.

The aligned resistance media will criticize the red state decisions, and the blue states will be heralded as more concerned about their citizens. There will be no pressure on the blue team to reopen because they will be funding themselves from the government trough. Meanwhile the red team that wants to get back to business will find themselves limited if they took any bridge funding from the mechanism within the coronavirus bill.

Alinsky would be proud.

It’s inevitable.

Socially the COVID-19 issues will be used to weaponize, politicize and mitigate any economic recovery attempt for maximum partisan damage. It will be an economic civil war of sorts, only this time instead of North -vs- South it’s going to be urban -vs- rural and the weapons will be economic manipulation.

Red state supplies will not be permitted to exit blue state areas. Transit from red to red supply chains will have to travel around blue regions which will be blocked. In this process the traditional GOP candidate -vs- DEM candidate, and weaknesses of the blue team, will be obfuscated by a national social crisis defined by regional economics and party affiliations.

Bill Gates warns six to 10 weeks of total isolation ‘is the best case scenario’ for the U.S.

Bill Gates on Tuesday said that six to ten weeks of total isolation is the best case scenario for the United States, warning you cannot return to normal too soon and ‘then ignore the pile of bodies in the corner’.

The Microsoft founder said in a virtual Ted interview there ‘really is no middle ground’ when it comes to stopping the spread of coronavirus while acknowledging shutdowns will be ‘disastrous’ for the economy.

He warned: ‘It’s very tough to say to people, “Hey keep going to restaurants, go buy new houses, ignore that pile of bodies over in the corner, we want you to keep spending because there’s some politician that thinks GDP growth is what counts”.

‘It’s hard to tell people during an epidemic that they should go about things knowing their activity is spreading this disease.’

Gates — who recently announced his plans to leave the board of Microsoft — is also known for his philanthropic work, including in the area of global health.

He said Tuesday the US ‘did not act fast enough to have an ability to avoid the shutdown’, adding: ‘The U.S. is past this opportunity to control (COVID-19) without shutdown. It’s January when everybody should’ve been on notice.’

Gates last week urged everyone to ‘stay calm’ during the coronavirus pandemic.

Snitch Nation: Americans Call 911 on Their Neighbors to Report Coughers to Law Enforcement

Americans are succumbing to fear and tyranny.

Desperate Americans are now calling 911 to report coughers to police, and law enforcement has to devote resources to these frenzied calls – distracting from real emergencies during an unprecedented pandemic.

Law enforcement throughout California has announced that they are fielding emergency calls from people who have heard their neighbors cough or sneeze, fearing they have coronavirus.

“The concern is real and each call, no matter how infrequent, is a request for help that law enforcement personnel must take seriously and handle professionally,” noted Police One about these requests.

“Authorities say they can’t ignore such calls or discount them as paranoia, hypochondria or fakery. They must respond even when every other public entity adopts ‘social distancing’ in order to reduce possible coronavirus transmission,” they wrote.

Police Chief Jim Henson of Desert Hot Springs notes that they are enabling more reporting from citizens, giving desperate Americans more tools to report their paranoid fears to law enforcement with dubious evidence.

“What we’ve been trying to do is keep the website updated so people know that they can report to us remotely. They can call in when there’s no need to collect physical evidence,” Hanson said. “We’re trying to give residents as many opportunities as possible to report remotely from their homes.”

As Americans surrender their liberties and beg government officials to keep them safe, the former land of the free devolves rapidly into a Soviet-style hellscape.

U.S. Justice Department: Don’t Treat Trans Athletes As Girls

The U.S. Justice Department is getting involved in a federal civil rights lawsuit that seeks to block transgender athletes in Connecticut from competing as girls in interscholastic sports.

Attorney General William Barr signed what is known as a statement of interest Tuesday, arguing against the policy of the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, the board that oversees the state’s high school athletic competitions.

The conference allows athletes to compete as the gender with which they identify, arguing it is following a state law that requires high school students be treated according to their gender identity. It also argues the policy is in accordance with Title IX, the federal law that allows girls equal educational opportunities, including in athletics.

The Justice Department, in its filing, disagrees.

“Under CIAC’s interpretation of Title IX, however, schools may not account for the real physiological differences between men and women. Instead, schools must have certain biological males — namely, those who publicly identify as female — compete against biological females,” Barr and the other department officials write. “In so doing, CIAC deprives those women of the single-sex athletic competitions that are one of the marquee accomplishments of Title IX.”

The lawsuit was filed in February by runners Selina Soule, a senior at Glastonbury High School; Chelsea Mitchell, a senior at Canton High School; and Alanna Smith, a sophomore at Danbury High School, against the conference and several local boards of education.

They argue they have been deprived of wins, state titles and athletic opportunities by being forced to compete against transgender athletes.

“Males will always have inherent physical advantages over comparably talented and trained girls — that’s the reason we have girls sports in the first place,” their attorney, Christiana Holcomb said Wednesday. “And a male’s belief about his gender doesn’t eliminate those advantages.”

Messages seeking comment were left Wednesday with the attorneys representing the athletic conference and other defendants.

The American Civil Liberties Union, whose attorneys represent the two transgender athletes who run track in Connecticut, said it was deeply troubled that the U.S. government would weigh in to ”make clear that it does not believe girls who are trans enjoy protections under federal law.”
