“These kind of shootings don’t happen anywhere else in the world,” says liberals. “Gun control stops mass shootings and save lives,” liberals say. There was a mass shooting in Canada, which isn’t the United States, in which 16 people were killed. Canada has draconian gun control laws that makes California and New York envious. Chances are, the liberal media in the U.S. won’t spend much time covering this story because it literally blows away many false liberal narratives on legal gun ownership.
Fox News reports that a dentist in Canada went on shooting spree:
A horrific shooting rampage Sunday in Nova Scotia, Canada, killed at least 16 people including a policewoman, investigators said, in the deadliest attack of its kind inside that country in history.
The lone gunman, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman, was also dead. He had “moved across the northern part of the province and committed what appears to be several homicides,” Royal Canadian Mounted Police [RCMP] Chief Superintendent Chris Leather said.
A possible motive was unclear; police said many of his victims did not know the killer. At one point, he apparently disguised himself as a police officer, investigators added. Several bodies turned up inside and outside a home in the town of Portapique, what police called the first crime scene.
Among the victims, at least one officer died and another suffered injuries, according to Brian Sauvé, the president of the National Police Federation union. The dead officer was identified as Constable Heidi Stevenson, a mother of two and a 23-year veteran of the force.
Canadian authorities said that the killer was dressed a law enforcement officer and was driving around in what looked like a Royal Canadian Mounted Police vehicle. They are still investigating and say that the death toll could be much higher.

So strict gun control laws don’t stop crazy people from doing evil things? And the right to keep and bear arms doesn’t make law-abiding gun owners commit heinous acts of violence? Who knew?
Earlier in the week Liberals here in America where snarkily reporting that thanks to the coronavirus last month was the first March without a school shooting in 18 years. It was a lie but it also proved that guns aren’t the problem, people are. If anything, the lack of target-rich gun-free zones due to the coronavirus lockdown is why shootings of all kinds are down in the U.S. The point that people, and not guns, are responsible for shootings remains since there was also a 2 million gun proliferation among American citizens in March.
The Canadian mass shooting also proves that more guns doesn’t equal more killing. The population of Canada is 38 million and there are 15 million guns in private’s hands. There are 328 million Americans and we own over 393 million guns, plus the 2 million sold last month.
16 or more people killed in a Canadian mass shooting is inconvenient to the liberal narratives that more guns equal more death, that these shootings only happen in the U.S., and that gun control stops this kind of thing. That’s why you will see little to no coverage from the American liberal media. Anything that challenges their bullshit narratives gets buried and forgotten.
