Democrats have blocked and delayed the coronavirus relief bills #2 and #3 to push their silly pointless socialist BS. Just in case you thought democrats were serious people that consider the needs of the American people, democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will introduce a bill that would ban President Trump from signing any coronavirus relief checks that Americans receive. Not that this dumbass bill has any chance of passing, but if it did, it wouldn’t stop Trump from adding a message on the checks that they were several weeks late because democrats are full of crap.
Millions of Americans are out of work because the country has been shut down for a virus that is no worse than the annual flu or the H1N1 swine flu. Democrats have used this pandemic hysteria to push their progressive anti-American agenda and to attack President Trump. What they haven’t done is help Americans in any way.
Speaking of which, this is what Chuck Schumer thinks is the most pressing issue facing American in this time of manufactured crisis. Politico reports:
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is planning to push for a provision in the next coronavirus package that would stop President Donald Trump from putting his name on any additional stimulus checks.
The so-called “No PR Act” would prohibit the use of federal dollars toward any material that promotes the names or signatures of Trump or Vice President Mike Pence.
“President Trump unfortunately appears to see the pandemic as just another opportunity to promote his own political interests. The No PR Act puts an end to the president’s exploitation of taxpayer money for promotional material that only benefits his re-election campaign,” said Schumer.
This is already dumb, but Schumer is basing this joke legislation on the lie that Trump delayed the coronavirus checks so he could have his signature on them. For the record, Trump doesn’t sign these checks, someone from the Treasury Department does. President Trump’s name will appear with related material included with the checks, which isn’t that outrageous considering he is the President of the United States. The main point is, the checks have gone out on time and were not delayed so Trump could sign them.
“Delaying the release of stimulus checks so his signature could be added is a waste of time and money,” said Schumer.
Since that’s not true, what would Schumer call introducing a bill that would stop a thing that never happened and doesn’t stand a chance of passing? Also, Chucky should remember that he’s a democrat and all they do is waste time and money. Without wasting the and money, democrats would literally have no reason to exist.
Here’s a fun true story: The I5 freeway through the San Fernando Valley, just north of Los Angeles, has been under construction since the beginning of time. Shortly after Obama was elected in 2008, signs started popping up giving him credit for the project that was underway well before he became president. The project was approved and the funds were secured before Obama’s reign of fussiness and yet signs were touting him as the guy who made it happen, which is a complete lie.
I don’t remember Chuck Schumer, whose party was in the majority at the time, introducing legislation stopping the president from wasting time and money to promote himself. At least Trump is the President who signed the coronavirus relief package into law. Also, it didn’t cost anything extra for his name to be included with the checks nor did it delay them by even one second.
Mitch McConnell should call a vote of banning democrats from being full of shit. Sure, it removes the democrats’ entire reason for existing, but it would definitely hold up to Constitutional scrutiny.
