Things just keep getting worse for the “scandal-free” Obama presidency. Just a week after the Justice Department had to drop charges against former national security advisor Gen. Michael Flynn because the Obama administration obviously set him up comes a list of Obama officials who sought to “unmask” Flynn. And wouldn’t you know it, one of those people is none other than former vice president Joe Biden, who just yesterday claimed he didn’t know nothing about the Flynn case.
When U.S. Intelligence issues reports concerning foreign nationals they have under surveillance, they generally redact the names of U.S. citizens if those citizens are not involved in any wrong-doing. A request can be made to “unmask” the redacted names of innocent U.S. citizens but there has to be a pretty good reason.
In the time between Donald Trump’s election and his inauguration, transition team member Michael Flynn spoke to then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, which was neither illegal nor suspicious. U.S. intelligence intercepted a nothing-phone call between Flynn and Kislyak and for some reason everyone who is anyone in the Obama administration sent unmasking requests.
Fox News reports the list of recently declassified unmasking requests:
Top Obama administration officials purportedly requested to “unmask” the identity of former national security adviser Michael Flynn during the presidential transition period, according to a list of names from that controversial process made public on Wednesday.
The list was declassified in recent days by Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and then sent to GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, who made the documents public. The roster features top-ranking figures including then-Vice President Joe Biden…
The list also includes then-FBI Director James Comey, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Obama’s then-chief of staff Denis McDonough.
Hey look at that: It’s everyone who helped frame the bogus Russian collusion story in an attempt to cripple Trump’s presidency. Is it weird that Joe Biden is on that list too?
Here’s something else that looks pretty odd:
The list revealed that then-U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power made unmasking requests seven times between Nov. 30, 2016 and Jan. 11, 2017.
Why in the hell would the U.S Ambassador to the U.N. make 7 requests to unmask Michael Flynn over an innocuous call with the Russian ambassador?
Another more pressing question is, why would Joe Biden also make an unmasking request? The answer is obviously that he was part of Obama’s team to discredit and destroy Trump before he took office.
Yesterday Biden was asked if he knew anything about Obama investigating Flynn and gave this lying answer:
“I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” said Biden.
After being pressed on the issue, Biden gave an even less truthful answer:
“I thought you asked me whether or not I had anything to do with him being prosecuted. I’m sorry. I was aware that there was—that they asked for an investigation, but that’s all I know about it, and I don’t think anything else,” Biden said.
Clearly that’s not true. Biden made an unmasking request so he knew way more about the Flynn investigation than he’s claiming.
So at what point do democrats admit they f*cked up by picking Joe Biden as their nominee and replace him with someone else? Biden has the Hunter/Burisma/Ukraine scandal, the Tara Reade rape allegation, and now the Obamagate mess hanging over his head.
And that doesn’t even include the fact that there’s not much in Biden’s head. He can’t form complete sentences or coherent thoughts. He doesn’t know where he is, he can’t remember what he did yesterday, and when he does remember it’s a lie. Maybe Joe Biden is a gift from the democrats as a way of saying sorry for all of that Russian collusion nonsense, because there has never been candidate this bad including Hillary Clinton.
