Democrats are planning on keeping this country locked down until the November election, when they hope the artificially depressed economy will deliver them the White House. In the meantime, Senator Bernie Sanders would like to exploit the crisis to push his socialist policies on the country. The elderly communist failure is proposing paying people $90,000 a year to quarantine while the democrats destroy the economy. He doesn’t explain where the money is going to come from to pay people to do nothing, but socialism tends to skip the part about funding the insanity.
Nancy Pelosi and the house democrats introduced the next round of coronavirus relief packages and it’s a $3 trillion mess that usurps President Trump’s power and helps black people open weed stores. What it doesn’t do is help people get back to work and Comrade Bernie had some more suggestions about how to maintain unemployment and foster government dependence:

Second: Any legislation in the Senate to address the economic crisis must include a provision to guarantee 100 percent of the paychecks of workers up to $90,000 a year. This is what is being done successfully in many European countries and what should be done here.

Plus $2,000 a month for how ever long the democrats keep this shit going? Under Bernie’s proposal, actually it is a demand, people could make a six-figure income for doing nothing more than sitting at home and watching this country get burned to the ground.
To drive home his socialist point, Bernie then sent this lack of self-awareness tweet:

The easiest and cheapest way to ensure workers get a paycheck is to let them go back to work. Not only doesn’t that cost a dime, it generates billions of dollars for the government.
Right now there are 37 million people who are unemployed because of the coronavirus lockdown. To pay them what Bernie wants would cost almost $4 trillion for just one year. The country has already paid out around $4 trillion in coronavirus relief and that has put us massively in debt. Where are we going to find an additional $4 trillion, especially since the country’s tax revenue is way down because of the lockdown?
Keep in mind that the longer this country is locked down, the more people will lose their jobs, so it is a guarantee that Bernie’s BS plan would cost way more.
And let’s get real here: Bernie doesn’t want to avoid another Great Depression. That was the last time democrats were able to successfully ram socialism down Americans’ throats and Bernie is salivating at the prospect of doing it again.
Again, the obvious and cheapest way to deal with this is to reopen the country and let people earn money that they can then pay taxes on. But hey, that ain’t the socialist way so I don’t expect Bernie to understand it at all.
Lost in all of this socialist math insanity is that it’s pretty clear that Bernie and the democrats plan on keeping the country on lockdown, and Americans out of work, for another year or at least until they can take the White House.
