Nancy Pelosi put the democrats’ double-standard on display Wednesday when she slammed President Trump for planning to do the exam same thing Joe Biden is planning to do. Citing coronavirus concerns, both parties have cancelled their conventions. Joe Biden will no longer be traveling to Milwaukee to accept the nomination and Donald Trump will no longer be traveling to North Carolina to accept his party’s nomination. The House speaker thinks Biden’s move is incredibly brave while she says Trump doing the same thing degrades the country.
The Hill reports that Biden’s basement bunker campaign will continue in perpetuity:
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden will not travel to Milwaukee to accept his party’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention due to concerns about the surging coronavirus.
Biden will instead accept the nomination from his home state of Delaware.
The development marks the latest impact the pandemic has had on the party nominating process in the U.S. ahead of November’s general election.
“From the very beginning of this pandemic, we put the health and safety of the American people first. We followed the science, listened to the doctors and public health experts, and we continued making adjustments to our plans in order to protect lives. That’s the kind of steady and responsible leadership America deserves,” said DNC head Tom Perez.
Democrats now think behaving like an Internet troll living in his mom’s basement is bold leadership.
Meanwhile:
President Trump said early Wednesday that he is considering delivering his GOP nomination acceptance speech from the White House later this month.
“We’re thinking about it. It would be the easiest from the standpoint of security,” Trump said on “Fox & Friends” when asked about reports that GOP convention planners were considering the White House South Lawn as an option. “We’re thinking about doing it from the White House because there’s no movement.”
“It’s easy, and I think it’s a beautiful setting and we are thinking about that. It’s certainly one of the alternatives,” said Trump.
Okay, this is basically the same thing. Neither candidate is going to a convention, instead delivering their acceptance speeches from home. Somehow Pelosi only thinks one of these men is evil. Try to guess which one.

Pelosi was on MSNBC and was asked about Biden opting to deliver his acceptance speech from his basement.
“I think it’s an indication of the seriousness with which he judges the situation. I commend him for doing that,” said Pelosi.
Pelosi was then asked what she thinks about Trump delivering his acceptance speech from the White House South Lawn.
“It’s very wrong…For the president of the United States to degrade once again the White House as he has done over and over again by saying he’s going to completely politicize it, is something that should be rejected right out of hand. Again, it’s notion-mongering, not serious thinking. It won’t happen, let’s put it that way. Whether it’s legally wrong or ethically out of the question, it shouldn’t have even been something that was expressed,” Pelosi said.
Pelosi was then asked if she had the authority to stop Trump from doing this.
“He can’t do that,” she said, adding, “You don’t have political events in the White House.”
Quite a difference, huh?
Pelosi is not very good at communicating anything but anger and insanity, but presumably she is concerned that Trump delivering a Republican nomination speech from the South Lawn violates The Hatch Act.
According to Wikipedia: The Hatch Act of 1939, An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities, is a United States federal law whose main provision prohibits employees in the executive branch of the federal government, except the president, vice president, and certain designated high-level officials, from engaging in some forms of political activity.
Donald J. Trump is the President of the United States so this law doesn’t prohibit him from engaging in any political activities at all. Nancy can relax. Well, she needs to pull that stick out of her ass and and find an antidote to Botox, but when she does she can relax.
