NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo Threatens President Trump With Death

President Trump ordered a review of federal funds going to “anarchist” cities with the goal of defunding liberal places that have allowed riots and destruction to go unabated. One of those places is New York City and so in a rational and calm way, NY Governor Andrew Cuomo threatened the President with death at the hands of angry New Yorkers. It was a “mostly peaceful” death threat so the liberal media won’t make much of it.

The New York Post reports that President Trump is looking to defund the cities that have defunded public safety:

President Trump is ordering the federal government to begin the process of defunding New York City and three other cities where officials allowed “lawless” protests and cut police budgets amid rising violent crime, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Trump on Wednesday signed a five-page memo ordering all federal agencies to send reports to the White House Office of Management and Budget that detail funds that can be redirected.

New York City, Washington, DC, Seattle and Portland are initial targets…

Federal agencies must detail “all Federal funds provided to Seattle, Portland, New York City, Washington, D.C.” Also, within 14 days Attorney General Bill Barr must develop a list of “anarchist jurisdictions” that “permitted violence and the destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake reasonable measures” to restore order.

“My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” said president Trump. “To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities.”

The NY Post also reports that NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo flipped his lid and threatened the President’s life.

Cuomo called an emergency press briefing within a half hour on Wednesday night to tear into Trump for the order, which cites New York’s rising murder rate and defunding of the NYPD.

“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” said Cuomo.

Funny  Cuomo should mention it. As Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America, Trump actually does have an army. In fact he has the most powerful military in the world under his command.

He also has an excellent Secret Service detail as well as the every cop in New York since the state’s police union endorsed him over leftist cop-hater Joe Biden. I think Trump has enough protection to go anywhere in the U.S. he wants but Cuomo disagrees as he doubled-down on the death threat:

“He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him,” Cuomo said.

President Trump is telling these places that they need to get the violence under control and Cuomo’s response is, “Oh yeah? We’ll f*cking kill you!” That seems sane.

It’s unclear why Cuomo thinks he can rally everyone in NYC to kill the President as he is a universally disliked governor. I guess this is part of the fantasy world democrats live in where they speak for all of the people, including the ones they hate on and alienate.

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, who was named twice in Trump’s order, didn’t have quite the freak-out Cuomo did, but he did manage to call the President a racist:

“As much as Donald Trump wants New York City to drop dead, we will never let this stand. This has nothing to do with ‘law and order.’ This is a racist campaign stunt out of the Oval Office to attack millions of people of color,” said the mayor’s press secretary in a statement.

Once again liberals prove they only have a few things in their bag of tricks: accusations of racism and death threats. Also Cuomo has once again proved he’s a maniac because his violent rant actually made de Blasio look like kind of a moderate.
