Remember when Obama lied to Congress about giving healthcare to illegal aliens and Republican Rep. Joe Wilson stood up and called him a liar? Well according to the former White House occupier, he wanted to walk down and smack Wilson upside the head. This is some bold talk coming 11-plus years after the fact, but since it’s coming from Obama it’s very obviously another of his lies.
Let’s travel back to 2009 when then-president Barack Obama was addressing Congress, with a reassuring lie that his health care reform, better known as ObamaCare, would not give out freebies to illegal aliens:
“There are also those who claim that our reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants. This too is false. The reforms I’m proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally,” said Obama.
“You lie!” Wilson shouted from the gallery.
Obama was out promoting his new book Everyone I Hate is Racist on CBS, when host Gayle King asked him what he was thinking when Joe Wilson called him a liar:
“I’m shocked and my initial instinct is, ‘Let me walk down and smack this guy on the head. What is he thinking?’ And instead, I just said, ‘That’s not true,’ and I just move on,” said Obama.
When Obama was president, democrats and the liberal media determined that any sort of criticism of him, no matter how appropriate, was racist. If someone were to suggest they wanted to physically harm Obama, even in jest, that was a cancelable office and also very racist. Joe Wilson is white and Obama is black so does the former president’s statement that he wanted to smack him upside the head also count as racism?
The answer is “no” because Wilson is a Republican and Obama is a democrat. They’re pretty stringent in enforcing their liberal double-standard.
It does however show that the first instinct of Obama and all liberals is to resort to physical violence when their bullshit is confronted. The fact of the matter is, the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) does allow for illegal aliens getting free health care. Just take a look at California, New York, and any super-liberal stronghold to see what a lying sack of crap Obama is.
Obama actually won “Lie of the Year” from leftist propaganda out fit PolitiFact for all the crap he spewed about ObamaCare:
“If you like your health care plan, you can keep it,” President Barack Obama said — many times — of his landmark new law.
But the promise was impossible to keep.
So this fall, as cancellation letters were going out to approximately 4 million Americans, the public realized Obama’s breezy assurances were wrong.
Boiling down the complicated health care law to a soundbite proved treacherous, even for its promoter-in-chief. Obama and his team made matters worse, suggesting they had been misunderstood all along.
For all of these reasons, PolitiFact has named “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it,” the Lie of the Year for 2013. Readers in a separate online poll overwhelmingly agreed with the choice.
There’s plenty of proof that Obama lied about ObamaCare and here he is all these years later still lying about it. It’s nice to see that the vast and undeserved wealth he’s amused since leaving the White House hasn’t changed him a bit. He’s still completely full of shit.
