Now that the liberal media has declared Joe Biden the next President of the United States they are prepared to go into a 4-year slumber like they did with Obama. Part of the preparations include forgetting the 4-year temper tantrum the left threw for President Trump’s first term. As such, New York Times writer Paul Krugman says that no democrat has ever claimed that Trump was an illegitimate President.
Thanks to the great election theft of 2020, if Joe Biden were to be sworn in, legitimacy concerns would plague his presidency. NYT Writer Paul Krugman, as member of the democratic party propaganda corps, thinks that’s a shame since the democrats treated President Trump with so much respect for 4 years:
When Joe Biden is inaugurated, he will immediately be confronted with an unprecedented challenge — and I don’t mean the pandemic, although Covid-19 will almost surely be killing thousands of Americans every day. I mean, instead, that he’ll be the first modern U.S. president trying to govern in the face of an opposition that refuses to accept his legitimacy. And no, Democrats by and large were not claiming Donald Trump was illegitimate, just that he was incompetent and dangerous.
No democrat ever called Trump illegitimate? Krugman himself has dozens of tweets in which he questioned Trump’s legitimacy as president, starting on day one:
Seriously: how will this presidency ever be considered legitimate? And what happens to America when it isn’t? pic.twitter.com/dD2tTcIdye

But Krugman said “democrats” never did this so he probably thinks he gets a technical win because he’s not a democratic lawmaker. Big surprise, there were plenty of democratic lawmakers who said it too.
“I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president,” said late Rep. John Lewis about boycotting Trump’s inauguration.
Elizabeth Warren refused to recognize Donald Trump as the legitimate President of the United States:
Warren was directly asked if she shared Lewis’s views that Trump wasn’t “a legitimate president,” in part because he believed Russian interference helped Trump defeat Hillary Clinton. She responded by praising what Lewis has done as a civil rights leader and said he has the right to question Trump’s legitimacy. But she wouldn’t go so far as saying whether Trump was a legitimate or illegitimate president in her eyes.
“He knows he’s an illegitimate president,” said Hillary Clinton of Trump in an interview last year.
In 2019, former president Jimmy Carter said that Trump didn’t actually win the 2016. When asked if he thought Trump was an illegitimate president, Carter replied, “Based on what I said, which I can’t retract,” which is a “yes.”
During the democratic primaries, a woman told Joe Biden that Trump, “is an illegitimate president in my mind.” Biden responded by asking the woman to be his running mate and then said, “Folks, look, I absolutely agree.”
I did an extensive Google search and have found shockingly that Lewis, Warren, Clinton, Carter and Biden are all democrats. Obviously Paul Krugman meant that no democrats called Trump illegitimate except for all the ones who did.
