Big tech is doing a super job suppressing and silencing information that democrats don’t want people to see, but there’s still so much more censorship to be done. That’s why the democrats have announced a special commission to “rein in” the media. Presumably this will be the conservative media because the liberal media is the democratic party’s propaganda ministry.
In the same Instagram livestream in which she accused Republican Congressmen of almost killing her, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez let it slip that her party intends to silence all conservative media:

AOC was listing off the things that will be a priority for the democrats now that they have stolen the White House and Senate including student loan forgiveness and climate change. Then she added this to the things that will be a “huge priority” for her party:
“I can say, is that there is absolutely a commission being discussed but it seems to be more investigatory, in style rather than truth and reconciliation, so I think that’s an interesting concept for us to explore, and I do think that several members of Congress, in some of my discussions, have brought up media literacy because that is a part of what happened here and we’re going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so that you can’t just spew disinformation and misinformation,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
So, zero interest in truth or reconciliation, just censorship? Yup:
“It’s one thing to have differentiating opinions but it’s another thing entirely to just say things that are false, so that’s something that we’re looking into,” said Ocasio-Cortez-Cortez.
Who’s comfortable with AOC deciding what information is allowed? Or the democrats? Or the federal government?
If AOC gets to decide what type of speech is allowed, the only thing that will be acceptable is complaining that everyone is sexist and racist because they’re scared of empowered women of color. It’s boring when she says it and it will be monotonous as hell when that’s the only thing allowed.
This is an all-out assault on the 1st Amendment right to free speech. AOC says the democrats have formed a commission to, “figure out how we rein in our media” adding that they will decide what you can and cannot see, read, or hear.
When President Trump called the liberal media “fake news” after they constantly reported stories about him that were false, democrats like AOC screamed that he was destroying democracy and the free press. Trump never did anything like banning a media outlet from publishing or even suggesting that a news organization should be shut down, but somehow he was still accused of attacking the 1st Amendment.
Here is a sitting member of Congress saying that her party intends to shut down any media that they disagree with and nobody from the liberal media has a problem with it at all. That’s probably because they know the democrats aren’t coming after them, and censorship and speech suppression don’t count when it happens to conservative media.
