Warner Bros. Is Doing A Woke Black Superman Movie

Hey, Jake from State Farm got a race change, so why not Superman? A black activist and reparations champion has been hired to write the new Superman film so let’s assume the Man of Steel is about to get woke and black. This sounds as entraining as Lesbian Bat Girl, which is also a real thing. Apparently Hollywood got so used to people staying away from theaters during the pandemic that they want to keep it going with this piece of crap.

Shadow And Act reports:

Shadow and Act has learned exclusively from studio sources that Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing an upcoming Superman feature film from DC Films and Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is very early into the development process with no start or release date targeted. J.J. Abrams will produce the feature under his Bad Robot shingle and Hannah Minghella will serve as producer.

“There is a new, powerful and moving Superman story yet to be told. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the brilliant Mr. Coates to help bring that story to the big screen, and we’re beyond thankful to the team at Warner Bros. for the opportunity,” said JJ Abrams.

“Ta-Nehisi Coates’s Between the World and Me opened a window and changed the way many of us see the world. We’re confident that his take on Superman will give fans a new and exciting way to see the Man of Steel,” said Warner Bros. Chairman Toby Emmerich.

If you are unfamiliar with Ta-Nehisi Coates, he’s most famous for demanding slave reparations. His book Between the World and Me is actually a really long letter he wrote to his teenage son explaining that, “racist violence that has been woven into American culture.”

I can see why Warner Bros. wants this guy writing a superhero movie, he seems like a ton of fun.

The question is: what does this black activist intend to do with Superman?

“To be invited into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros., DC Films and Bad Robot is an honor. I look forward to meaningfully adding to the legacy of America’s most iconic mythic hero,” said Coates.

So, woke and black? I think that’s a given.

I don’t know if you noticed, but since the George Floyd riots this summer, everything is getting more woke and black. Movies, TV shows, commercials, everything. What’s going on is Hollywood liberals finally feel bad for their racism so they’re going overboard with this crap to make it up. By this time next year, all superheroes will be black:

That should pack movie theaters. Or not. Sci-fi nerds and fanboys don’t react well to change. Remember the uproar when JJ Abrams put a black Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens?

Of course this race-shifting Hollywood trend only works in one direction. There will be no Asian Black Panther or Mexican Falcon, although both of those sound more interesting than Black Superman.

If Coates intends to make Superman black and woke will he keep it real by naming him the “Man of Stealing?” Oops, did I say that out loud? I apologize. I’ll let you guys come up with what black Superman’s Kryptonite would be.
