The insufferable (and white) team of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler once again hosted the Golden Globe awards on Sunday. They claimed they weren’t going to get political but much of their unfunny monolog was dedicated to complaining about the lack of diversity at he awards ceremony. They weren’t so upset about it to turn down the gig so people of color could host but they were bothered by it nonetheless.
It has been reported that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which votes on the Golden Globes nominations, only has white members. Rich white liberal elites Fey and Poehler took exception with that after they took big fat checks to host the Awards show:
“Everybody is understandably upset at the HFPA and their choices. Look, a lot of flashy garbage got nominated but that happens, okay that’s like their thing but a number of black actors and black-led projects were overlooked,” said Poehler.
“We all know awards shows are stupid,” said Fey. “Even with stupid things inclusivity is important and there are no black members of the Hollywood Foreign Press.”
There were also no black members of the Golden Globes hosting team, which is something these 2 self-righteous white chicks chose to ignore.
“I realize HFPA, maybe you guys didn’t get the memo because your workplace is the back booth of a French McDonald’s, you gotta change that,” Fey said.
“Yeah, looking forward to that change,” added Poehler.
In other words, two very white women are complaining that the Golden Globes awards show they are hosting is too damn white. They could have easily remedied the situation by declining to host the show, making room for some diversity, but instead chose to display their liberal hypocrisy.
Borat star Sacha Barron Cohen, another rich white liberal, also had a problem with the golden Globes diversity problem during his acceptance speech:
“Thank you to the all-white Hollywood Foreign Press,” said Cohen.
It seems like if that is such an issue to white guy Cohen, he should have turned down the nomination or at the very least declined to accept winning the award.
Hollywood is run by liberal white douchebags who complain that their industry isn’t inclusive enough and they try to make it seem like that racism is somebody else’s fault. This constant lecturing by these elites on how racist we all is tiresome. It’s the same thing with the democratic party who owned slaves, formed the KKK, and forced segregation. They’re the racists but the finger of accusation is always pointed at us.
