Gov. Cuomo: “I am not part of the political club”

On the one-year anniversary of “two weeks to slow the spread,” Emmy winner Andrew Cuomo continues to brag about his ghastly track-record of mismanaging a global pandemic and sexually harassing former female office aides.

In a desperate attempt to shift public attention away from a seventh allegation of sexual misconduct, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo baffled those on both sides of the political aisle by claiming he is not an establishment politician. During a conference call, Cuomo played the role of victim, telling reporters that he doesn’t belong to a “political club.”

“I was not elected by politicians, I was elected by the people. Part of this is that I am not part of the political club. And you know what? I’m proud of it.”

Cuomo then continued to negate his own argument, boasting that he has been a public figure in Albany since he was a teenager. Even Leftist reporters scorched Cuomo for the irony of his claim:

“Political outsider” Andrew Cuomo is the son of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and brother of CNN primetime host Chris Cuomo. Cuomo also served as the 64th Attorney General of New York after spending four years as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Former President Bill Clinton. Calls to resign from both Republicans and Democrats have continued to mount against the governor. Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand joined every millennial’s favorite bartender/Twitch streamer Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in voicing demands for the scandal-stricken Governor to step down.

This sudden flood of sexual misconduct allegations seem to have shifted public attention away from Cuomo’s nursing home scandal of 2020. Andrew Cuomo sentenced thousands of patients in nursing homes and long-term care facilities to their death at the height of the pandemic, ordering nursing homes accept COVID-19 positive patients. Reports surfaced in January that Cuomo’s office underreported COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes and long-term care facilities by as much as 50%.

At the end of the day, with revved-up pressure mounting from the left, an impeachment or resignation seems increasingly likely – but for the wrong crime. The reckless actions of Cuomo instituting state policy in March of 2020 that required nursing homes to accept COVID positive patients potentially led to over 15,000 preventable deaths in the state. This was a negligible blunder in the eyes of woke-Democrat legislators who have adopted the ideology that matters of life and death pale in comparison to the old man’s Biden-esque office come-ons.
