There was a shooting in Boulder, Colorado yesterday that democrats planned to exploit to push gun control and the purge of white supremacist extremism, but never mind. The shooter has been identified as a 21-year-old Muslim so this is the last you’ll hear about it from democrats and the liberal media.
Monday at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado a gunman opened fire, killing 10, including a police officer. Many liberals jumped the gun, pun intended, to put the blame on white supremacy and right-wing extremism. There’s just one problem as Fox News reports:
Boulder, Colo., police officials updated the public regarding Monday’s mass shooting at the King Soopers grocery store that left 10 people dead, including the first police officer to arrive on the scene, revealing they have charged the suspect with 10 counts of first-degree murder.
Police identified the suspect as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a 21-year-old Arvada, Colo., man, though his motive for the attack was not specified at this time.
Gosh, that doesn’t sound like a white supremacist name or a right-wing extremist name. In fact, it skews a bit Muslim. Perhaps the motive for the attack was jihad-related, to kill all the infidels.
Because some of the victims in the Atalanta-area shooting last week were Asian, democrats and the liberal media instantly pegged it as a hate crime, even after it was clear the gunman didn’t target the victims because of their race.
Now that the Boulder shooter has been revealed to be a Muslim, no democrats or anyone in the liberal media is suggesting that this may have been an Islamic extremist attack. Weird how that works, huh?
If the shooter had been a white man it’s a guarantee that there would be wall-to-wall coverage about how white supremacist domestic terror is the biggest threat to our country. To be clear, there is no evidence that white supremacist domestic terrorists even exist, but when actual Islamic terrorism happens, it gets ignored.
During Obama’s reign of uselessness, Islamic terrorism was dismissed as “workplace violence” or “homophobia” and now his second fiddle is occupying the White House, so let the spin begin. It won’t matter if the Boulder shooter screamed “Allahu Akbar” during the killing or left a manifesto pledging his allegiance to ISIS, there’s no way the Biden administration is ever going to characterize this as Islamic terrorism.
The timing of the Boulder shooting as well as the Atlanta one last week couldn’t have been more convenient for democrats who are trying to ram through unconstitutional gun control. Unfortunately, neither of the shootings are usable to them because they don’t fit the narrative they’ve developed that white supremacists are killing minorities with illegal “ghost guns.”
There is no wave of anti-Asian violence. There is no white supremacist domestic terrorism threat. No gun control law would stop people without criminal records from legally purchasing firearms nor would any laws prevent crazy people from doing terrible things.
With news that the Boulder shooter is a Muslim, the fan news industry is about to democrat rte that not all mass shootings deserve the same level of outrage. This one will be forgotten by tomorrow as they wait for one they can really exploit.
