Michelle Obama, who has lived a privileged life by any standard, really wants us to believe she is “regular folks.” An even greater need for her is that people see her as an oppressed black victim of systemic racism. Despite the fact that she was in the White House for 8 years, she wants people to think that at any moment a racist white police officer could kill her and her daughters.
Michelle Obama did an interview with CBS and since there’s nothing remotely interesting about her, the topic of discussion was the George Floyd murder trial. Also, since there’s nothing interesting about Michelle, she made it all about her:

Michelle said she can’t move on after white former officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of killing George Floyd and explained why:
“Many of us still live in fear, as we go to the grocery store, or worry about our — walking our dogs — or allowing our children to get a license,” said Michelle.
So Michelle Obama worries that her and her husband are going to be murdered by racist white cops while walking the dogs or going to the grocery store? Even with the Secret Service detail that protects them 24/7? That’s a special kind of delusion.
So is this: Michelle also worries that these same racist white cops are going to take out her daughters, Sasha and Malia:
“They’re driving but every time they get in a car by themselves, I worry about what assumption is being made by somebody who doesn’t know everything about them. The fact that they are good students and polite girls but maybe they’re playin’ their music a little loud. Maybe somebody sees the back of their head and makes an assumption. I, like so many black parents of black kids, have to, that the innocent act of getting a license puts fear in our hearts,” said Michelle.
The problem here, one of them anyways, is that it’s Michelle’s belief that cops run around looking for black people to kill. If she bothered to look at any black person who was killed by a police officer, she might notice some mitigating factors. They are always career criminals, in the act of committing a crime, often armed, often attacking, always resisting, and mostly on drugs.
There has been not been one recorded incident of a black person being killed by a cop who was polite and cooperative.
If Michelle is worried about her daughters driving, she should let ’em know the they shouldn’t take lethal doses of Fentanyl, or try to pass counterfeit money, or freak out on arresting officers. They’ll be fine.
After praising Black Lives Matter for rioting in the streets, Michelle once again made everything about her:
“We’re real folks and the fear that many have of so many of us is irrational and it’s based on a history that is just — it’s sad, and it’s dark,” Michelle said.
Ironically, that’s how many of us remember the Obama presidency: sad and dark.
Here’s a fair question: Did Michelle or Barack ever get pulled over and killed by a racist white police officer? If it is her contention that racist white police officers pull over black people and kill them, surely it must have happened at least once to one of the Obamas.
The fact is, neither of them has ever had a negative experience with a cop because if they had, it’s all she would talk about.
