“Awad, 24, of Brighton, was arrested shortly after the attack outside the Shaloh House on Chestnut Hill Avenue,” CBS Boston reported. “Boston Police said he was armed with a knife and gun. He’s charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a police officer.”

“Investigators said Awad came up to Rabbi Noginski Thursday afternoon, pointed a gun at him, and told him to give him the keys to a school van,” the local CBS station reported.

“The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency revealed to Fox News that Awad first entered the United States on an F-1 student visa in August 2019,” Breitbart reported. “Awad, an ICE spokesperson confirmed, did not stay enrolled in college courses and thus lost his legal visa status in May 2021.”

This is another element of the Biden regime in dire need of attention. Perhaps a crackdown on visa abuse. And what about punishing those who commit anti-Semitic violence? Awad is an offender of multiple laws: visa fraud, possession of a hand gun, and attempted murder. He should not have been in the country, let alone committing acts of Anti-Semitism.

If Immigration cannot maintain control of the student visa program, place a temporary hold on the program. We must not depend on this to be an honest program. Honesty obviously is not working. The wrong actions of few inconvenience many, however, of primary importance are the lives, health, and well being of American citizens.

The Executive Branch is charged with enforcing the immigration laws passed by Congress. Boston Rabbi Noginski nearly lost his life due to someone metaphorically falling asleep at the switch. Should we blame this on Biden?
