Joe Biden’s handling of Afghanistan is the biggest foreign policy disaster anyone can remember. It’s been made worse by the fact that Joe went into hiding as everything went to shit. In a bizarre attempt to make it seem like Biden is on top of things from his hidey hole at Camp David, the White Hosue sent out a picture of him appearing to be in charge. The only problem is, that photo is an obvious fake.
As Afghanistan was falling completely into the Taliban’s hands yesterday, the White House tweeted out this picture of Biden totally dealing with the crisis:

Look at that. Biden is thoughtfully taking notes as he Zooms with Kamala Harris and other top officials regarding the unfolding situation in Afghanistan. You can rest assured that Joe is handling the crisis. Or not.
Some people notched a few things that don’t quite add up about that photo:

London and Moscow are currently only two hours apart because of Daylight Savings Time. The clocks in the picture the White House tweeted out today show they’re three hours apart.

In the picture the White Hosue tweeted out, those monitors are dead black, indicating that the mics are not on.
There are also some glaring security issues. While the other advisors are in secured locations, Kamala Harris is Zooming from her home with a nice view of the outside:

Joe Biden sucks so bad he can’t even fake being in charge. Making matters worse, he can’t fake being in charge without compromising OpSec and blowing the covers of CIA operatives.
Is it any wonder that a guy this incompetent lost Afghanistan to the Taliban in a little under a week?
