Bette Midler smeared West Virginians in a disgusting tweet attacking Joe Manchin.

She later apologized in a brusque, offhand manner. And called Joe Manchin’s family a “criminal enterprise.”
Some believe she meant to say, ‘Joe Biden.’
I apologize to the good people of WVA for my last outburst. I’m just seeing red; #JoeManchin and his whole family are a criminal enterprise. Is he really the best WV has to offer its own citizens? Surely there’s someone there who has the state’s interests at heart, not his own!

One West Virginia Coal Miner, Bo Copley, went on Fox News to address Midler’s insults.
He said he didn’t think a lot of “West Virginians are losing sleep” over her comments.
He also challenged Midler to do what they do.

“I don’t think a lot of West Virginians are losing sleep over it. The only thing to lose sleep over is getting up early and heading out and going to work.
It does get tiresome. They have the platforms. They’re the people that can get their tweets read and for people react to. But, honestly, we know, deep in our hearts, the things that we do here in this state really drive this nation far more than someone like Bette Midler or Hollywood liberal elitists.The way I look at it, I’m sure there are way more people in this state that could do her job than any of these jobs that she can possibly do.
So, I would throw that gauntlet down and say, ‘You come to do what we do and see how well you do at it, or give us a chance to do what you do.
And, I promise you, we could do better at what she does.”

What a disgusting piece of convoluted radical liberal vaingloriousness. Belittling a U.S. Senator and his entire constituency simply because they choose not to follow her inappropriate, misguided direction on social spending and the national debt is ludicrous and grounds for future disregard by all meticulous conservatives.
Bottom line: Midler is a bumptious bloviating minor character who is neither talented nor intelligent. The level of irritation she provides at length is her sole source of talk-show-host job security. While adversely, she screams ‘litigation’ with each word emitted from her muzzle.
