Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Accuses LeBron James Of Racism For Sharing Spider-Man Meme

If that headline seems like a joke, it is in the sense that it’s completely stupid but unfortunately it’s also very real. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has accused basketball superstar LeBron James of racism for sharing a Spider-Man meme. The cool thing here is that this very entertaining and you don’t have to take sides: they’re both idiots.

LeBron James posted this on Instagram:

As you can see, James is equating COVID-19 with the flu and the common cold, which isn’t that unscientific. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar however flipped the f*ck out and wrote a really, really, really long Substack post complaining about it.

I don’t want to bore you by cutting and pasting all the shit Abdul-Jabbar wrote, so I’ll sum it up: Kareem says this Spider-Man meme promotes vaccine hesitancy in the black community and since, according to him, COVID-19 is racist and attacks black people more than everyone else, James is guilty of essentially killing his own people.

And that of course is racist, which is how Abdul-Jabbar summed things up:

While LeBron is a necessary and dynamic voice critical of police brutality against the Black community, he needs to be the same necessary and dynamic advocate with vaccines, which could save thousands of Black lives right now. The racism is just as real—and just as lethal—in both cases.

Basically Abdul-Jabbar is saying that James is guilty of black genocide by not speaking out in favor of vaccines.

Making this dumber, Abdul-Jabbar says that COVID-19 is just as deadly to the black community as the police. I did a little research and found that police killed 241 black people this year, which is about half of the 457 white people they killed. Keep in mind that 99.9999% of these shootings were justified uses of force.

As of early December, the percentage of black people who died from COVID-19 is 14.8%, which ain’t shit compared to the 62.6% of white people who died from the virus. In terms of numbers, around 114,000 black people died of COVID-19 in 2021.

241 is much less than 114,000 so police killing armed black suspects is not comparable to over a hundred thousand black people dying from a virus. But if, as Kareem says, LeBron is responsible for COVID-19 deaths in the black community, that is significantly racist.

The other fun dynamic going on here is the liberal media’s narrative that white Trump supporters are the anti-vaxxers completely crumbles. I know for a fact that LeBron James is neither white nor a Trump supporter.

The fake news industry spent weeks flipping out on Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers for promoting vaccine hesitancy but none of them have come down as hard on LeBron James or at all. I did some more research and discovered that Aaron Rodgers is white. I wonder if there’s any connection between that and the liberal media’s fake outrage.

2021 has been a record year for racial stupidity but if white teen Kyle Rittenhouse is racist for killing 2 white people who attacked him, it makes perfect sense that black guy LeBron James is racist for causing vaccine hesitancy in the black community. Of course none of that is true but, like I said, this has been a very dumb year.
