Joe Biden’s entire illegitimate presidency has been a legitimate disaster but today, January 13, 2021, it was taken behind the barn at put out of its misery. Joe was counting on Democrats eliminating the filibuster so he could nationalize elections, but Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema have put an end to that dream. That and another series of setbacks means Biden’s agenda and his illegitimate presidency are effectively dead.
Biden already got crushed when West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin wouldn’t buy into his “Build Back Better” gazillion dollar socialist spending bill. Biden then pivoted to a pair of “voting rights” bills that would nationalize elections and fix the process so democrats would win every time. BBB was somehow weaseled into budget reconciliation, meaning it only needed 50 votes in the Senate to pass but the elections bills they need to go through the regular process meaning that Republicans can block them using the filibuster.
With that, Biden and many democrats who used to support the filibuster, tried to get the filibuster eliminated. That process requires 50 Senate votes and the democrats just so happen to have 50 Senators in their caucus. Unfortunately for Joe, 2 of those Senators, Manchin and Sinema, do not believe getting rid of the filibuster is a wise idea. Biden met with Senate Democrats today on Capitol Hill and learned his agenda is dead.
“There’s no need for me to restate my longstanding support for the 60-vote threshold to pass legislation. There’s no need for me to restate its role in protecting our country from wild reversals of federal policy,” said Sinema on the Senate floor today.
“I will not vote to weaken or eliminate the filibuster,” said Manchin in a statement.
Needless to say, Biden was pissed:

But wait, Joe’s day got even worse. As Fox News reports, the Supreme Court kicked his COVID-19 strategy square in the nuts by blocking his vaccine mandate:
The Supreme Court blocked President Biden’s push to force employers across the country with over 100 employees to vaccinate their workers in a 6-3 ruling that dealt a sizable blow to the administration’s vaccination push.
All of this comes in the same week that inflation hit the highest mark in 4 decades, Biden’s approval numbers hit historic lows, and the COVID-19 pandemic surged.
The consumer price index rose to 7% in December over last year, which is the highest rise since 1982.
The latest Quinnipiac University national poll showed Biden’s approval rating has sunk to 33%, which makes him less popular than herpes.
On Monday, the U.S. recorded 1.4 million new COVID-19 cases, the highest daily total for any country since the beginning of the pandemic. Remember when Biden said he was going to shut the virus down on day one? Well, that didn’t.
Biden’s occupation of the White House has seen him commit self-inflicted wounds with the border crisis, the clusterf*ck Afghanistan troop withdrawal, and insanely high gas prices, but Thursday was a whole year of losses in one single day.
There has never been a more ineffectual or incompetent POTUS in our history than Joe Biden. Now that the filibuster is safe, he’ll be even less effective, which means his illegitimate presidency is dead. He can’t do a damn thing and in just 10 months, democrats will lose control of both chambers of Congress and that’s it for him.
Biden hasn’t even been in the White House for a full year of his first term and he’s already a lame duck. Go check the history books, nobody has been this bad this fast.
