White House press secretary Jen Psaki has the toughest job in the world. She has to make it seem like the rotting corpse of Joe Biden’s failed illegitimate presidency smells like roses. Unfortunately for Jen, she’s not very good at it. During Joe’s hell week in which his agenda literally imploded, the only thing Psaki can come up with is to blame Republicans for the raging inflation caused by Biden’s ineptitude.
The consumer price index rose to 7% in December over last year, which is the highest rise since 1982. That’s bad but the producer price inflation jumped 9.7% in December, which is the highest year-to-year rise in history. What this means is that consumer prices are going to continue to rise.
Igor Bobic, a senior politics reporter at The Huffington Post tried to help Joe out by making it seem like this is a Republican-caused crisis:

Jen Psaki saw an opportunity to use this bullshit tweet to shift blame from her boss:

That’s a good one , Jen. The democrats control both chambers of Congress and the White House, but it’s the Republicans fault for doing nothing.
It’s also a lie because, if you will notice, in Bobic’s tweet, he actually points to the Republicans trying to put a cap on reckless government spending. One of the biggest drivers of inflation is the over-availability of money. In fact, the Republicans blocking Biden’s gazillion dollar “Build Back Better” bill is another way Republicans have worked to reduce inflation.
Jen’s tweet is filled with other lies as well. Biden hasn’t done anything to unclog supply chains or address corporate monopolies. He’s talked about these things (incoherently) but as far as taking any action, he ain’t done shit.
The ironic thing is that Psaki accuses Republicans of doing nothing but if Biden had done nothing, the country wouldn’t be in this mess. If Joe simply let Donald Trump’s policies continue, gas prices would be normal, consumer prices would be normal, and the economy would have rebounded by now. Instead, Biden killed our energy independence, paid people to not work, and drove shipping costs through the roof. All of these things have contributed to the high prices we are all paying right now.
Jen Psaki is a complete psack of pshit for trying to blame Biden’s failures on the powerless minority party. Joe owns the mess he created.
