Joe Rogan has the #1 podcast by a lot because he speaks the truth without any filters. It’s because of this that the left has declared him public enemy #1. Geriatric rocker, Neil Young, who was once a rebel, is now part of the establishment and is demanding that Spotify kick Rogan off the air for the high crime of telling it like it is.
Rolling Stone reports on this latest liberal temper tantrum:
Neil Young posted a since-deleted letter to his management team and record labeldemanding that they remove his music from Spotify. “I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them,” he wrote. “Please act on this immediately today and keep me informed of the time schedule.”
“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” he continued. “They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young. Not both.” Young is referencing the steady stream of misinformation about vaccines that Joe Rogan has peddled on The Joe Rogan Experience. Last month, 270 doctors, physicians, and science educators signed an open letter asking Spotify to stop spreading Rogan’s baseless claims.
Speaking of misinformation, that letter from 270 “doctors” was written by a non-doctor and signed by mostly non-doctors. Hardly anyone involved was an actual medical doctor.
I suspect the reason why Young deleted this demand is because he realized his ultimatum was a no-brainer for Spotify. Tens of millions of people listen to Rogan’s podcast, meaning he’s a big money maker, while literally no one would ditch Spotify if they couldn’t hear “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
And while we’re on the subject, trying to silence Joe Rogan’s voice is anything but rocking’ in the free world. It’s actually really fascist suppress those who speak out against the official party line. Congratulations, Neil, you are officially a cog in the machine.
Plus, what misinformation has Rogan spread about COVID-19? He got the virus and was treated with the anti-parasitic drug, ivermectin. He touted the therapeutic value of the drug, that the liberal media has falsely dubbed a “horse dewormer” and there is plenty of science to back up Rogan’s claims.
Rogan also said that he wouldn’t recommend young healthy people getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Again, science tell us that there is no real benefit for young healthy people to get the vaccine when their chances of dying or even getting gravely ill are next to nothing.
I found a piece on NPR listing all of Joe Rogan’s COVID-19 “lies” but they only list one thing and that’s ivermectin. It’s actually misinformation that Rogan spreads misinformation because liberal outlets can’t even come up with anything they claim he said was wrong.
Meanwhile, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been spewing misinformation about COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. He’s flip-flopped on every position, straight up lied about the origins of the virus, and ignored the actual science. Why isn’t Neil Young demanding that Fauci be cancelled? The answer is because he is now a useful idiot for the establishment he once claimed to fight against.
