It’s bad enough that Hollywood is so out of ideas that all they do is reboot old properties, but they also have to ruin their unoriginality with wokeness. Disney is rebooting Snow White with a Hispanic actress in the lead and apparently the dwarves are problematic so they’re going in a different direction. They are literally redoing this classic as “Snow Brown and the Seven Tall people.”
Coming on the heels of the highly unsuccessful black “Wonder Years,” Samoan “Doogie Howser,” and black Macbeth, Disney has decided to fail with a Hispanic Snow White as Deadline reports:
Although her upcoming breakout role as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s new retelling of West Side Story doesn’t bow until December, Rachel Zegler already appears to have found her next big role. Sources tell Deadline that Zegler is set to star as Snow White in Disney’s live-action adaptation of the film that started it all for the studio’s legendary slate of animated features.
As for the casting process, Webb and studio execs had been meeting with talent for several months for the role of Snow White. Zegler’s auditions impressed everyone, insiders say, but another factor was footage from West Side Story that blew away the Disney studio brass who’ve seen it, and helped push the decision across the finish line.
The casting also marks a step in the right direction of Disney diversifying its Disney Princess characters, after tapping Halle Bailey to play Ariel in the upcoming live-action The Little Mermaid movie.
In the original Brothers Grimm story, Snow White was named such because of her appearance, as in she was white as the snow. Zegler is Hispanic and much less snow-like so perhaps a name change is in order for this “diversified” reboot.
Peter Dinklage, the little person actor known best for portraying Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones, thinks Zegler is a good fit for Snow White but has a problem with the rest of the cast. On Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, Dinklage laid it out:
“Literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White — but you’re still telling the story of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.’ Take a step back and look at what you’re doing there. It makes no sense to me. You’re progressive in one way, but then you’re still making that f*cking backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together. What the f*ck are you doing, man?” Dinklage said.
Within minutes, Disney was retooling their reboot. Here’s a statement given to The NY Post with regards to Dinklage’s dwarves complaint:
“To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community,” said a Disney spokesperson.
“Different approach” means no dwarves.
Like my headline said, they are making “Snow Brown and the Seven Tall People” and it is as lame as it sounds. Wouldn’t it be easier to just set $50 million on fire? Nobody is going to watch this crap the same way nobody watches any of this woke rebooted stupidity.
The ironic thing is, a live-action Snow White and the Seven Dwarves would have provided at least 7 jobs for little people actors but thanks to Dinklage and The Woke Disney Company, that ain’t gonna happen.

Phallus in Wonderland – Lesbians drop acid and have a friendly strap-on battle.
One Hundred And One Dominicans – Illegal aliens from the Dominican Republic sneak past Cruella de ICE to get lots of “free” stuff from the American taxpayers.
