There Was A Shooting In Texas And Celebrities Have Some Thoughts

Thank goodness that celebrities have offered their thoughts on the Odessa, Texas shooting that left 7 people dead and 19 wounded. We almost had to form our own opinions on it, but they stepped in and told us what to think, freeing our brains up for other matters. Spoiler alert: none of these celebs thinks we should be allowed to keep and bear arms. Spoiler alert 2: none of these celebs are actual celebrities.

Let’s start off with plastic surgery disaster Paul Stanley of KISS:

Mass shootings with high-powered automatic weapons are commonplace? And that cannot be disputed? I can dispute it using these weird things called “facts.” There hasn’t been a mass shooting in the United States in which the shooter used an automatic firearm ever. The closet there has been was the St Valentine’s Day Massacre in 1929, but that wasn’t a mass shooting because there were multiple shooters. Definitely stay in your lane, Paul.

Next there’s out-of-work unfunny comedian Chelsea Handler making an unfunny joke about the Texas shooting:

See, the joke is that people aren’t suppose to wear white after Labor Day. The reason why this “joke” falls flat is because there’s no evidence the Odessa shooter was a white supremacist and the shooting occurred before Labor Day.

Another unfunny comedian, Josh Gad, still thinks doing this is witty:

Anyone who tweets out something repeated over and over has absolutely nothing intelligent or relevant to say.

Speaking of which, here’s George Takei adding nothing to the conversation:

Yeah, when is the Senate going to make it illegal for crazy assholes to murder other people? Get off your ass Cocaine Mitch.

Takei wants to know how many more mass shootings that couldn’t have been prevented by legislation are going to happen before Congress passes laws that won’t prevent mass shootings. I guess the easiest answer is: all of them.

Then there was Micheal Moore with a rare non-food-related tweet:

He doesn’t have anything to say about the Texas shooting, but you should see his monster thread on the Popeye’s chicken sandwich.

Finally there’s this guy who keep making the same movie with the same people over and over again, which is exactly as funny and entertaining as Josh Gad’s tweet:

If sane equals Constitutional, I’m on board with this but we’re going to have to repeal a lot of gun control laws, especially in California.

For a bunch of pedophiles, rapists, drug addicts, and racists those Hollywood liberals sure do like to lecture about our behavior, don’t they? This is kind of like a guy swimming in a sewer yelling for us to get out of the rain because we might get wet.
