Last January a hot mic caught Joe Biden calling Fox News’ Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch.” Biden offered a “sorry, not sorry” type of apology and that was that. Or so it seemed. Last night, White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked about the incident and basically doubled-down that the entire Biden administration views Doocy as a stupid son of a bitch.
Psaki was on the Pod Save America podcast run by a bunch of former Obama bros. Politico White House reporter Eugene Daniels was on hand for the live taping and noted this exchange:

It sounds like Psaki is trying to say that Doocy isn’t responsible for coming off like a stupid son of a bitch because Fox is feeding him the questions he asks. But, as Fox News anchor John Roberts notes, Doocy comes up with his own questions:

Since Psaki’s qualifier was that whoever comes up with Doocy’s questions is a stupid son of a bitch, she just reiterated the Biden administration’s position that Doocy is a stupid son of a bitch.
We were reliably told during the Trump-era that any criticism of the press was a Constitutional crisis that damaged democracy and put the lives of journalists in jeopardy. Since this isn’t even legitimate criticism, it’s an ad hominem attack, this must be a hundred times worse. Then again, there may be a rule that says it’s okay for democrats to attack the press.
On top of being completely classless, this Psaki attack is a major ethics violation. Psaki is reportedly taking a job with MSNBC soon and yet she was using her current platform as White House press secretary to attack a competitor of her future employer.
Remember how much the left freaked out over Trump’s press secretary Kayleigh McEnany taking a job with Fox long after she left the White House? They said is was unethical and an affront to journalistic integrity. For some reason they aren’t equally freaking out over Psaki shit-talking Fox News as she’s poised to take an MSNBC position. Then again there may be some rule that says stuff is only bad when conservatives do it.
Most of the rest of the lame stream media is complaint and only asks pre-approved questions but Peter Doocy dares to ask the tough ones. This is why Jen Psaki and President Alzheimers hate him and call him a stupid son of a bitch. In reality it’s the Biden administrations way of acknowledging that only Fox News is doing anything related to journalism.
