Considering how tirelessly democrats have worked to keep people poor over the past 70 years or so, you’d think they’d be a little more sympathetic. Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow doesn’t give a damn how high gas prices are because she has an electric vehicle. Basically she’s saying, “Stop crying because you’re poor,” which might be an actual bumpersticker on her EV.
Thanks to Biden’s green energy agenda and supreme incompetence, gas prices are through the roof. Last week gas hit at least $4 a gallon in all 50 states for the first time in history. People in places like California would actually kill for $4 a gallon as the state average is $6.35.
Outrageous prices like this can actually cripple a working person and ruin them financially but don’t worry, the democrats are on it. Here’s Marie Antoinette Debbie Stabenow, stabbing now:

Yeah, if you don’t like the gas prices, get an EV, you stupid poor people. You can buy a crappy electric vehicle for around $40,000 but then again if you had $40,000 laying around you probably wouldn’t give a shit about $4 gas.
On top of being an elitist, Stabenow is also a liar. She says she drove her electric vehicle from Michigan too D.C., laughing all the way at gas prices but there’s a few problems with her story. She lives in Lansing, Michigan and from her house to D.C. is 585.2 miles. Most electric vehicles have a range of 200-300 miles on a full charge and the very best is 400 miles.
I guess she could have pulled over and recharged her EV, but that takes about 8 hours. The trip from Lansing to D.C. is over 9 hours, so her entire adventure would have taken 17 hours. Not only do I doubt she did this but also, it’s not a great selling point for electric vehicles to say they almost double your travel time.
Stabenow wasn’t quite done being awful. Check out who she blames for high gas prices:
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity for us to move to vehicles that aren’t going to be dependent on the whims of the oil companies,” Stabenow said.
It’s weird how the oil companies didn’t have any “whims” when Trump was president but after Biden killed American energy independence suddenly they are whimsical as hell.
Another thing burred in there is Stabenow giving up the democrats’ game. They want to make gas so unaffordable that people have no choice but to buy an electric vehicle. This gas price hike is by design and not some random thing beyond Biden’s control.
