Joe Biden killed America’s energy independence to send gas prices through the roof. He calls this an “incredible transition” to green energy, which is an asshole way of saying he’s trying to force everyone to buy electric vehicles and pay through the teeth for unreliable home heating and cooling. As it turns out there’s another downside: Thanks to soaring gas prices, one Michigan county can no longer respond to every 911 call.
This is the situation in Isabella County, Michigan thanks to Joe Biden’s illegitimate presidency:
The Isabella County Sheriff says his department has already blown through their fuel budget thanks to high gas prices and will not respond to all 911 calls in person. Some, they say, will only be handled over the phone.
Presumably 911 operators are going to have to walk people through life-saving medical procedures and advance King-Fu self-defense tactics:
“911, what’s you emergent?”
“Help! My house is on fire!”
“Calm down. Do you own a garden hose?”
The Sheriff says it will be several months before they get a new fuel budget, so until then people are pretty much on their own.
The national average for a gallon of gas is almost $5. In Michigan it’s $5.21 a gallon. This GMA piece pointed out that a year ago the national average was $3.06, but they didn’t mention how much it cost when Trump was president. Just to refresh your memory, gas was around $1.90 a gallon and on his last day in office it was $2.39. This is all Joe Biden.
What Isabella County needs is some of Joe’s green solutions. The Sheriff’s deputies can ride around on electric-powered Segways like Paul Blart Mall Cop. For emergency services, they could use dog sled teams. It won’t be much use in the spring and summer, but once global warming turns Michigan into a frozen wasteland in the winter, Iditarod technology will save countless lives.
The flaw in Biden’s plan, well one of them, is that he’s sending energy costs sky high before the green technology is able to replace fossil fuels. The other problem is, green energy will never be able to replace fossil fuels in either cost or reliability. Still, he should have at least given everyone a Tesla before killing American energy independence.
Rather than forcing poor people to buy electric cars they can’t afford, $5 a gallon is going to force them to vote for Republicans. It will also force them to work extra hours to cover the additional costs from Biden’s inflation, which is another endorsement for the Republican Party.
Of course, when people call 911 and are told emergency responders can’t come out because they can’t afford it, most people aren’t going to be thinking, “Man, Joe Biden and the democrats are doing an awesome job. They deserve to stay in power.”
