The Obamas had a multi-million dollar deal with Spotify to produce podcasts, which they barely did. Apparently hardly working was too much, so they’ve ditched the streaming service for Amazon, to make more money doing even less work. Eventually, they’ll find a place where they can do no work and haul in even more cash. Oh, they already have that with Netflix.

The Obamas are officially moving their podcasting empire, Higher Ground, to Amazon, months after departing their exclusive contract with Spotify.
Back in April, we reported former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama were walking away from their multi-million dollar, exclusive contract with Spotify in search of a bigger deal.
Spotify and the couple’s production company, Higher Ground, had consistently disagreed with content strategy which prompted their exit earlier this year.
The original deal with the platform was signed back in 2019 and allowed the couple to produce multiple podcasts under the Spotify name. Over time, the Obamas began to look for a company that could help provide a more wide-reaching fan base with less time commitment.
Less time commitment? Podcast empire? As far as I can tell, Michelle Obama did a podcast that produced 10 episodes, all under an hour. Barack did one with Bruce Springsteen called “Renegades” with 8 episodes under 45 minutes. That’s about 13.5 hours of podcasts for “multi-millions.” Now they are getting more money for less work.
And that’s on top of their $100 million deal with Netflix, which has so far produced only 2 documentaries and a puppet show.
Plus they got paid $65 million dollars to write their memoirs, which were absolute flops.
Let’s assume the Obamas have been paid $200 million in the past 6 years, and being extremely generous, let’s say they’ve done about 40 hours of anything that resembles work for that.
A good electrician makes about $30 bucks and hour and if he puts in a full 40 hours, makes $1,200 a week. If you want to know how unfair life is, in the time it takes a skilled tradesman to make $1,200, the Obamas made $200 million. And they were fronted the money. And they didn’t have to go to school, pass a test, or do an apprenticeship.
Making it even more disgusting, Barack Obama never had a real job in his life. He’s always just been gifted ceremonial positions that pay a lot of money but don’t require any work. You could say the same thing about his presidency: he didn’t do anything, or at least anything good, and walked away with a sweet pension for life.
Come to think of it, they gave Barack Obama a Nobel Peace Prize for no reason too. Along with that undeserved honor he also got a check for $1,145,000.
Untalented, unremarkable Barack Obama, along man-wife Michelle have amassed a huge fortune doing absolutely nothing besides being black. Sorry, but I don’t want to hear about institutional racism with these two lazy assholes being so rich for doing so little. If racism were a barrier to the success of black people, there’s no way 2 black people who don’t actually do anything would have 2 ocean-front mansions and hundreds of millions of dollars.
