In the comments section, I was asked for my views on rep. Val Demings C-FL. I was asked this I believe because I had called out another one of the impeachment managers in President Trump’s impeachment hearing. I didn’t know much about her until the impeachment trial, and I can’t say it has improved my view of her. She is the former Orlando Police Chief and the first woman to hold that job, serving from 2007 to 2011 The present First Lady of Orange County, (her husband Jerry Demings is the mayor).
She is married to the current and recently re-elected mayor and the former Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings. He is also the former Police Chief of the Orlando Police Department serving from 1999 to 2002 as the first African-American chief.
Ms. Demings is or rather has received an A rating from Planned Parenthood, and NARAL Pro-Choice America. So I don’t think I need to tell you her stance on abortion.
Ms.Demings has also received an F rating from the NRA, I don’t need to tell you her stance on guns. I’m not surprised the NRA gave her this F rating. As the Orlando Police Chief, she was censured for not properly securing her department weapon, in her department vehicle and the gun was stolen, along with ammunition, her handcuffs, and a baton. The Orlando Sentinel reports The firearm has to my knowledge never been recovered.
She supports the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
She has joined rep. Cori Bush C-MO in seeking to expel the 138 Republican Representatives that voted to object to the electoral college certification. House Bill 25
Ms. Demings was in the running to be Illegitimate President joe biden’s running mate, an accomplishment she was well qualified for being both an African-American and a woman.
She has voted 100% with biden, as of Aug 2022
She has further received a score rating of 100% from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
She has received a 97% lifetime score from the League of Conservation Voters for her stance on climate change, and the environment.
She supports eliminating the filibuster in the United States Senate.
My opinion.
And if all this isn’t bad enough, she is now running for the Senate as the democratic nominee. She has won her Primary and is now challenging Sen. Marco Rubio R-FL for his Senate seat. This woman has failed and will continue to fail if she can somehow be elected. She checks all the boxes, skin color, reproductive organs, climate change, and healthcare, not only believes in gun control, but she actually armed a criminal, with her stolen service weapon no less. Now, that is an achievement.
Ms. Demings has attacked Sen. Rubio and her PolitiFact page score has her rating. You should read it completely.
Is Marco Rubio worthy of re-election? I don’t know, I don’t live in Florida, and I can’t vote for him, or Ms. Demings. Under most circumstances I wouldn’t ask you to choose him, in this case, I would pick the RINO Lindsey Graham over Ms. Demings, I do know she isn’t worthy of being elected to the Senate, so if you live in Florida, and you agree with me go vote. Unfortunately, she is raising a lot of money, and some of the latest polls depending on which you look at have her slightly ahead of Rubio so get the word out as I am trying to do. We need every Republican we can get in office at this time. We need to take back the House, and the Senate if we stand a chance for the United States to survive this biden fiasco, and until the 2024 Presidential election.
That means Pennsylvania, you need to vote for Dr. Oz as well. I know, it is not a choice I would want to make either. How we got to this crossroads is beyond me, but we are there.
As one of my favorite shows South Park has said about the election process, your choice is usually between a giant douche or a turd sandwich.
