Just like the headline says, federal agents believe they have enough evidence to charge illegitimate president Joe Biden’s son Hunter with crimes. It’s about time but I feel like there’s a catch here. Actually there is, while federal agents say they have the evidence, it’s up to federal prosecutors to actually file charges. What are the chances that Joe Biden’s Justice Department will charge Joe Biden’s son with anything?
The Washington Post, who previously reported that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation now reports that information from that laptop has given the feds all the evidence they need to put him away:
Federal agents investigating President Biden’s son Hunter have gathered what they believe is sufficient evidence to charge him with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase, according to people familiar with the case.
Agents determined months ago they had assembled a viable criminal case against the younger Biden. But it is ultimately up to prosecutors at the Justice Department, not agents, to decide whether to file charges in cases where prosecutors believe the evidence is strong enough to lead to a likely conviction at trial.
It already sounds like a nothing burger because as I just mentioned, Biden’s Justice Department has been weaponized against conservatives, not the illegitimate president’s family. There is however some hope because the decision on whether to file charges goes to Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who is a Trump appointee.
The tax crimes stuff could be a million different things, but the gun charge is definitely that Hunter lied on a 4473 gun background check form saying he wasn’t an abuser of controlled substances when he was in fact a raging crackhead. The gun charge alone is a felony that comes with up to 10 years in prison.
Even with a Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney, there’s reason to be leery that anything will come of this. It’s got a very James Comey/Hillary Clinton vibe to it. Event though Hillary clearly broken dozens of laws with her mishandling of classified information on her home-brew private server, Comey said basically she didn’t mean it and nobody would reasonably charge her.
I can see current FBI director Christopher Wray saying the same thing: Yes Hunter broke the law, but he didn’t mean to and he’s really really sorry.
Another reason to suspect something weird is going on is the fact that The WaPo reported this and that they did it a month before midterms. The WaPo’s job is to protect democrats at all costs and this story is damaging to the illegitimate president and his party.
The only reason I can think of for the WaPo to run this story is because next week the Department of Justice is going to announce that they’ve determined Hunter Biden is 100% innocent and they won’t be filing any charges. Then, it’s a great victory for Biden and the democrats. They can point to Republicans and say they are a threat to democracy for having suggested that Hunter Biden is a piece of shit.
Hopefully I’m wrong and they do charge Hunter but it’s hard to believe that Joe Biden’s DoJ is going throw Joe Biden’s son in federal prison.
