President Trump Gives Fiery Speech at Mar-a-Lago After Being Arrested and Arraigned

The speech given by President Trump is one that is likely to generate mixed reactions.

In the speech, Trump talked about a number of issues, including the many attacks against him and his administration, the state of the economy, and the potential for a nuclear war. Trump also touched on the raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Presidential Records Act, and the Espionage Act of 1917.

In an appropriate, skillful move, Trump used the indictment to further drive home the point that the Left has been using the powers of the government to attack him politically. He accuses them of spying on his campaign, launching fraudulent investigations, and attempting to impeach him twice.

He said:

From the beginning, the Democrats spied on my campaign. Remember that? They attacked me with an onslaught of fraudulent investigations: Russia, Russia. Russia. Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. Impeachment hoax number one. Impeachment hoax number two. The illegal and unconstitutional raid on Mar-a-Lago right here. The lying to the FISA courts, the FBI and DOJ relentlessly pursuing Republicans.

Trump also brought up the Ukraine scandal and the “unconstitutional” changes to election laws. He repeated claims that millions of votes were illegally stuffed into ballot boxes, and that this was caught on government cameras. He also mentioned the Hunter Biden laptop from hell “which exposes the Biden family as criminals.”

He said the scandal: [W]ould have made a 17-point difference in the election result if it had been covered by the media.

Another key theme in Trump’s speech was his concern about the state of the country. He mentioned the economic challenges facing Americans, including the highest inflation in over 60 years. He highlighted the threat of nuclear war and the open threats by various countries. He noted that this was never mentioned or discussed by outside nations during his administration, but that we could very well find ourselves in an all-out nuclear World War Three under the [Obiden Regime’s] leadership.

He said:

The FBI’s sole request in writing was, could you please put another lock on the door? We immediately comply. It’s a lot different than the Biden situation, isn’t it? The next thing I know, we were raided by many gun-toting FBI agents who took whatever they wanted, including my passports and medical records. Everybody was in shock. Nobody had ever heard of such a rape before.

Trump excoriated the Justice Department, claiming they were not looking at him through the view of the Non-Criminal Presidential Records Act but through the Espionage Act of 1917, where the penalty is death, even though that has nothing to do with openly taking boxes of documents and mostly clothing and other things to his home.

He noted that the offense for which he is being targeted was something Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and Ronald Reagan had done.

He also took a shot at New York Attorney General Letitia James, who he referred to as “another racist in reverse” who campaigned on targeting him.

He noted:

Her name is Letitia James, and she proclaimed while campaigning, quote, ‘I look forward to going into the office of the Attorney General every single day, suing him, and then going home.’

Ultimately, Trump’s speech covered a range of topics, most of which focused on how democrats communists/globalists have been using the government to attack him. To put it simply, he struck the right tone, using Tuesday’s indictment as a springboard to lash out at the left for its incessant attempts to use the legal system against him.

Politically, this speech was precisely what he needed to do. The President, as was already predicted, is using these attacks to his advantage and, so far, this strategy appears to be working.

Many believe New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg did Trump a tremendous favor by pursuing this indictment—especially one that is predicated on such a flimsy legal foundation. So far, this most recent attack on President Trump appears to be benefitting him more than it is hurting him.

God speed President Trump and may God keep you safe.
