Here’s A List Of Famous People, Not Named Hunter, Who Went To Jail For Tax Evasion

Earlier this week, Papa Joe got his corrupt Justice Department to cut a sweetheart deal for his crackhead son Hunter on Tax evasion and gun charges. For what would send any normal person to prison, Hunter got a slap on the wrist and a Get Out of Jail Free card. Before anyone writes this off a perk of being an elite, plenty of famous people have gone to jail for tax evasion, they just didn’t have the luxury of being related to the White House occupier.

There have certainly been more than a few black celebrities who served jail time for offenses far less than what Hunter Biden has done, but for some reason liberals aren’t screaming “white privilege!”

Chuck Berry

Before he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Chuck Berry was inducted into the federal prison system for tax evasion. In 1979, the Roll Over Beethoven singer was steamrolled by a federal prosecution and sent to prison for 120 days, 4 months of probation, and 1,000 hours of community service.

Wesley Snipes

Wesley Snipes followed up his hit movie White Men Can’t Jump with the sequel Black Men Can’t Pay Taxes. The film star was convicted of 3 counts of tax evasion by withholding $7 million from the IRS between 199-2001. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison, followed by 3 months of house arrest. He was then ordered to pay the IRS $9.5 million.

Ja Rule

Rapper Jah Rule, real name Jeffrey Atkins, pled guilty to tax evasion in 2011, for failing to pay taxes on $3 million in income. He was sent to jail for 28 months and fined $1.1 million.

Darryl Strawberry

You would have though former baseball great Darryl Strawberry would have went to jail for a drug-related offense, but it was tax evasion. In 1994, he was charged with failing to pay taxes on $500,000 in income between 1986-1990. He plead guilty and was sent to prison for 3 months and then an additional 3 months of house arrest.

Like most things that liberals claim are racist, tax evasion convictions happen to white people too:

Pete Rose

Baseball legend Pete Rose was known as “Charlie Hustle” but he couldn’t hustle his way out of his side hustles. In 1990, he was convicted of failing to pay taxes on $354,000 in income from memorabilia sales, paid autograph signings, and gambling. He got 5 months in jail, a $50,000 fine, 3 months at a halfway house, and 1,000 hours of community service.

Heidi Fleiss

This may the closest apples-to-apples comparison of Hunter Biden’s case. In 1997, Heidi Fleiss, the “Hollywood Madame” was sentenced to 37 months in prison for tax evasion and money laundering. There’s also a solid chance that some of that money came from the illegitimate president’s crackhead son and maybe even Joe himself.

Martha Stewart

If you ever wondered why Martha Stewart likes rolling with Snoop Dogg, it’s because she’s done more hard time than the gangsta rapper. The home and hospitality expert was convicted of several felonies in 2004 related to insider trading and tax evasion. Basically, she avoided a $45,673 loss when she dumped some stock on an inside tip and then failed to pay $220,000 in back taxes. For that, she got a 5-month term in a federal correctional facility and 2 years of supervised release with electronic monitoring.

The Situation

While its a stretch to call Jersey Shore goombah Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino a star, he is famous and that’s all it takes to be a celebrity. And all it takes to put him in jail for 8 months is him failing to pay the full amount of taxes on $9 million in income her earned 2010 and 2012. Also, holy shit, he earned $9 million just for being a Guido?

Additionally, rapper Fat Joe, “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice, “Survivor” winner Richard Hatch, “Queen of Mean” Hotel magnate Leona Helmsley, and even Italian bombshell Sophia Loren all went to jail for tax evasion.

Many of the the above cases were likely a result of accounting errors or lack of understanding of the complicated tax code, and not any kind of attempt to defraud the government, yet they were all thrown in the slammer. With Hunter Biden, he totally tried to defraud the government in an attempt to cover up his corruption, money laundering, and human sex trafficking schemes, but he won’t see one day behind bars.

The feds used t love harsh tax evasion convictions, that’s how they took down Al Capone, but now that it’s Joe Biden’s crackhead son, they’re basically issuing parking citations. Maybe tomorrow, we’ll take a look at all the famous people not named Hunter who went to jail on a gun charge.
