Ever since Joe Biden stole the White House, the liberal media fact-checkers have been on vacation. None of his outrageous claims and straight-up lies meets with even the slightest bit of scrutiny from the so-called journalists of the fake news industry. Luckily, since Elon Musk took over Twitter, the Community Notes are keeping Biden’s lies in check.
Back when Jack Dorsey was running Twitter, they rolled out Community Notes as a weapon against conservative ideas, trying to muddy the truth to fit the liberal narrative. After Musk grabbed the bird by the beak, or balls, Community Notes became what it was supposed to be: a mechanism to call out bullshit.
Joe Biden has been free to tell his lies in speeches because the liberal media is literally the democratic party’s Ministry of Propaganda. Joe had the same relationship with social media, until Musk took over Twitter, and now he’s going to have to find a new platform to spread his lies.
The first signs of trouble happened last year, as Politico reported:
The White House deleted a Twitter post on Wednesday touting an increase in Social Security benefits for seniors after the social media platform added a “context” note pointing out that the increase was tied to a 1972 law requiring automatic increases based on cost of living changes.
“Seniors are getting the biggest increase in their Social Security checks in 10 years through President Biden’s leadership,” read the tweet, which was posted to the official White House account at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 1. On Wednesday, the tweet no longer appeared on the White House’s feed.
The context annotation, which was visible Wednesday morning, noted that the record increase the tweet referred to was tied to inflation, which reached its highest point in 40 years in June.
“Seniors will receive a large Social Security benefit increase due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate,” the annotation said, linking to a history of the law on the official Social Security Administration website.
Deleting a tweet because of bullshit is bad optics, so Joe’s handlers are just leaving the lies up now:

Hey, look at that. Joe Biden is taking credit for something Trump did. What a weasel.
That last one could actually use some additional Community notes because it’s such a steaming pile. Joe Biden is claiming this suicide hotline stopped five million people from killing themselves in the past year.
Suicide rates are fairly stable and around 48,000 Americans take their own lives every year. There are also around 1.5 million suicide attempts every year. Based on these numbers, it seems a little hard to believe that 5 million people who would have killed themselves were saved by Joe Biden’s hotline.
Then again, Joe has f*cked this country up in so many horrible ways, that maybe suicide rates have gone up radically under his watch. “More people want to die under my administration” isn’t the brag Joe’s handlers think it is.
The good news for Joe is that he had nothing to do with composing these bullshit tweets and has dementia, so he has no idea that millions of Twitter users can see what a lying sack of crap he is.
