Crime-Ridden ‘Ghost Town’ Celebrated ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’

Mayor Sheng Tao tweeted that “today is #TransDayOfVisibility and a reminder of the amazing contributions our trans community have made to Oakland and our world.”

This from frontpagemag.com.

Set aside this nonsense, and what is invisible during the Transgender Day of Visibility?

– Rising crime risks turning Oakland into a ‘ghost town.’ Newsom is sending in reinforcements—CNN.

– According to police data and a San Francisco Chronicle analysis:

– – Robberies grew 38% last year in Oakland,

– – Burglaries increased 23%,

– – Motor vehicle theft jumped 44% and

– – Roughly one of every 30 Oakland residents had a car stolen last year,

1 out of every 30. A mind-blowing number.

But why talk about that when we can instead talk about the Transgender Day of Visibility? Afterall this will enable us to ignore our failures as communist/globalist elected leaders and our horrendous crime rates will be invisible.

[L]ast summer, Oakland police advised residents to use air horns to alert neighbors to intruders and add security bars to their doors and windows.

But were any of them transgender? And what about the air horns—did they blow or suck?

– In-N-Out is permanently closing one of its restaurants for the first time ever, saying that its Oakland location will soon shutter because of car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies targeting employees and customers,

– Denny’s is shuttering its only location in Oakland after more than 54 years, citing public safety concerns,

– Kaiser Permenente said a number of its employees working in its downtown Oakland offices were victims of armed robberies, vehicle theft, and other crimes in the latter part of 2023. Kaiser reportedly issued a memo to employees recommending that staff stay in buildings for lunch, and

– Clorox said it hired uniformed security guards to chaperone employees to the office from public transit stations, parking garages, restaurants, and coffee shops.

And what next for Oakland following a huge day of celebration?

No, no. Don’t look there, it’s the transgender day of visibility! Or any other culture war nonsense leftists can pull out of their hats.

Sadly believable is the utter state of misery Leftist policies bring to a city. And these excited new trans victims who have just arrived will soon realize the truth about Oakland, California.
