A safe generalization: Liberals cannot admit when they are wrong or that their methods are harmful to others.
But on very rare occasions a rebel does say something that sends shock waves through liberal society and leaves them dumbfounded and speechless.

A high-profile liberal media personality has unloaded on the constant negative attacks against President Trump and his supporters. His truthful assessment shocked fellow liberals.

HBO talk-show host Bill Maher [a stand-up comedian, remember] told former CBS News anchor Katie Couric during a podcast released Sunday evening that he was ‘bored’ with media coverage of President Trump’s supporters.
Maher, referencing a CNN town hall with Trump where the hosts tried every way to undermine the former president and his supporters, said:
Here’s what happened. Here’s what people saw in America: They saw Trump killing it, killing it with the crowd.
Then you come to a panel of six people who all just do nothing but dump on him and call him a liar. And America goes, ‘Oh, didn’t you just see that we like him?’
Further:
And there’s a different way to do this, I think, which is not to defend Trump, but to defend the people who still vote for him, because what they see on the other side to them is even more dangerous, because it’s very closer to home.
Maher argued that while some Trump supporters may not like him, they view him as:
[T]he only option to confront issues
such as education or transgender ideology.
Maher told Couric:
That’s their view. I would like that view presented.
‘We don’t like him, but he’s all
that stands between us and madness.’
Certainly, Maher’s wish will not be entertained by the mass propaganda media—they will not cover Trump’s supporters in a truthful manner nor any manner that is not full-on negative. However, Maher’s words have landed on the MPM like a ton of bricks. They have been slapped square in their faces with the truth. Although the following are not Maher’s exact words, in essence he said:
Trump is winning. A vast majority of the people see him as their hero, their savior, their deliverer from the insanity of whom you are falsely defending and of what you are failing to report each and every one of your fake-news broadcasts.
Despite the liberal media’s full-court attempts to undermine Trump, he holds a commanding lead over Biden. And poll-reported estimates also include Green Party candidate Jill Stein and independent candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. If honest elections are possible in November 2024, Trump will be a landslide winner.
In conclusion, Maher has made himself clear he is “bored” with the barrage of negative news coverage against Trump and his supporters. He noted the people love Trump and they love what he was saying during the town hall, and the media should begin to cover that view accurately. The MPM, of course, was shocked by Maher’s assessment. Odds are they are each working their way through the stages of grief and ‘acceptance’ will not be reached by many if any.
Final thought: The mass propaganda media will never come clean until truth-in-print and truth-in-speech laws are passed and then strictly enforced. Meanwhile the hundreds to be charged with treason should include many who have tried to pass themselves off as journalists. No mercy for coup d’etat participants. Severe retribution and deterrence for future such acts are musts.
