Last week a lunatic opened fire in a Maryland business, killing 3 and wounding 3 more. Normally in the case of a mass shooting, liberals go crazy with outrage. Democrats knee-jerk some new gun control laws, Hollyweirdoes tweet the the NRA are terrorists who kill children, and the liberal media runs non-stop anti-gun propaganda. None of that happened however and it might have something to do with the fact that the shooter was a black woman. The left has developed a narrative that white men are the biggest threat to society and this shooting didn’t fit that.
Last week, on Thursday, 26-year-old Snochia Moseley walked into a Rite Aid distribution center near Aberdeen, MD with a 9mm handgun. She proceeded to shoot at her coworkers, killing three of them and injuring 3 more. Moseley was described as a temporary worker at the facility.
CBS reports that Moseley got into an argument with another employee before the shooting. One witness said Moseley “went off” on the other employee, but didn’t specify what the argument was about. Moseley apparently left the facility to retrieve her legally-owned Glock 9mm handgun and began shooting, targeting nobody in particular.
“She didn’t have a particular target. She was just shooting,” said the witness.
Police were quick to respond and Moseley attempted to commit suicide rather than face law enforcement. She shot herself in the head, but her aim was off and it didn’t get the job done. She shot herself a second time in the head with slightly better results, though she was still alive when first responders reached her. She was taken to a hospital where she later died.
It’s too bad her aim wasn’t as bad as the suicide attempts when she was shooting at her coworkers. No seriously, she shot herself in the head twice and failed to achieve instant death. You’d think with that level of marksmanship, her coworkers would escaped unscathed.
With 3 fatalities in a single incident committed by a one killer, this definitely qualifies as a mass shooting. Liberals go off on BB gun attacks as “school shootings” but for some reason they’ve managed to curb their outrage over this legitimate mass shooting. Why?
Obviously it’s because the shooter was a black woman. There is no other explanation for the complete lack of liberal insanity. According to the left, mass shootings are committed by white men, who are usually racist and sexist. Even for lying-ass liberals, it’s kind of hard to blame a black woman for “toxic masculinity” and white supremacy though if it were proven that Moseley was a Republican, they could pull it off.
Another reason why liberals are sitting this one out is because the gun used in the deadly rampage was legally purchased and owned by the shooter. Maryland has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation and Moseley jumped through all of the hoops to legally obtain her Glock. Making a big deal out of this shooting would expose the ineffectiveness of tough gun control in stoping crazy people from doing crazy things.
And there’s one more wrinkle as to why liberals don’t want to make a big deal about this mass shooting. Check this out from The Baltimore Sun:
Authorities and court records identified Moseley as female, as did a Facebook profile in her name. But in Facebook messages [a friend] shared with The Baltimore Sun, Moseley described herself as transgender, although it was not clear whether Moseley preferred to be addressed using masculine or feminine pronouns.
A transgender black person? No way in hell would liberals be outraged over this killing spree although I am kind of surprised they haven’t come out in support of this “courageous” shooter.
There is a similar principal to the liberal rule that things are only bad when conservatives do them going on here. A democrat can rape all the women he wants and liberals won’t say a thing, but if a Republican is accused of sexual misconduct without any evidence, he must be destroyed. The only difference is, when white men kill it’s an outrage and when a black woman does, it’s the next best thing to nothing.
Earlier in the week liberals completely ignored the arrest of a violent serial killer because he happened to be an illegal immigrant. It doesn’t fit the narrative and neither does the Maryland mass shooting.
