LA Times Claims Trump Has Given Up On Being President

Liberals have tried everything they can to get rid of Donald Trump but nothing has worked. Not only is he still standing, he’s doing a kick-ass job as President of the United States. Desperate times call for desperate measures and the LA Times has come up with a plan to simply wish Trump away. The liberal newspaper is claiming that Trump has completely given up on being President. I hate to break it to them, but Trump isn’t an imaginary monster underneath a child’s bed. He does exist and he’s still in charge.

Here’s the latest in liberal fantasies, courtesy of the LA Times:

Trump, stung by midterms and nervous about Mueller, retreats from traditional presidential duties

For weeks this fall, an ebullient President Trump traveled relentlessly to hold raise-the-rafters campaign rallies — sometimes three a day — in states where his presence was likely to help Republicans on the ballot.

But his mood apparently has changed as he has taken measure of the electoral backlash that voters delivered Nov. 6. With the certainty that the incoming Democratic House majority will go after his tax returns and investigate his actions, and the likelihood of additional indictments by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, Trump has retreated into a cocoon of bitterness and resentment, according to multiple administration sources.

A cocoon of bitterness and resentment? Not only does the LA Times think Trump is imaginary, they believe he’s a sad 14-year-old emo girl who cuts herself to get attention.

I don’t know if you caught it, but the LA Times’ theory that Trump is no longer interesting in being President is because he isn’t out campaigning for the GOP like he was a few weeks ago. They are aware that the midterm elections are over and there’s no need to campaign any more, right?

As you can see, this information comes from “anonymous sources” the least reliable of all sources. In theory, the anonymous source could be the writer who came up with this bullshit article. He told himself this stuff, but doesn’t want himself to use his name for obvious reasons.

Another big piece of “evidence” that Trump is done with the presidency is because he has locked himself away for the past few days. This must be that cocoon thing the writer was talking about:

Publicly, Trump has been increasingly absent in recent days — except on Twitter. He has canceled travel plans and dispatched Cabinet officials and aides to events in his place — including sending Vice President Mike Pence to Asia for the annual summits there in November that past presidents nearly always attended.

Except that Trump has actually been out and about for the past few days. He went to France over the weekend and today he hosted a Hindu ceremony at the White House. If you take away all the times was out doing presidential things, then yeah, he hasn’t really be doing presidential things lately.

Remember when Barack Obama was doing nothing but golfing and taking 10 vacations a year? Where was the LA Time article about how he wasn’t interested in being president any more? The reality is, Obama never had much interested in doing presidential things and he spent 8 years not being the president.

This is the LA Times saying to liberals: “Maybe if we pretend Trump doesn’t exist, he will disappear.” This is dumb and infantile, but hardly ranks as the silliest leftist plot to get rid of Trump. Liberals are not serious people.
