Remember when Mika Brzezinski said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was President Trump’s butt boy? This is much worse. The Morning Joe cohost actually invited America’s enemies to attack us, because in her estimation the country is weak with Donald Trump at the helm. MSNBC gave Brzezinski a one-day suspension for her homophobic remarks, so what will they do with this treason? Probably give her a promotion and her own show.
The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was on Morning Joe and naturally they were all talking about how horrible and crazy President Trump is.
“If you’re an ally, you don’t trust us. If you’re an adversary, the only possible positive thing you can say, adversaries right now might look at us and say, we don’t know what the hell they’re going to do because this President is completely unpredictable. Their intelligence agencies are trying to analyze our moves, and can’t understand them. So long term we just look unserious. We elected someone who does not approach the world in any kind of serious, coherent fashion, with a mind towards America’s values globally,” said Goldberg.
And this is what Brzezinski had to add to the conversation:
“I would take it a step further and worry we look weak, and that this is the moment that anybody with ill will has to act, or to get further than they have been able to get in the past, as it pertains to us on the national stage,” said Brzezinski.
That really couldn’t be any clearer. Brzezinski didn’t say our enemies should act, but rather that they have to act. This is not so much an invitation for our enemies to attack, but rather a command that they do so. Either way, it’s an obvious act of treason for her to tell out enemies to attack us because she thinks President Trump makes us weak. She’s wrong on that, but it doesn’t erase the fact that she’s pointing out a perceived vulnerability to our enemies.
Here’s the US code on treason so Brzezinski can brush up on it:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Is there any argument that Brzezinski wasn’t trying to help our enemies by pointing out what she thinks is a weakness and a window of opportunity to attack? That’s called giving aid to our enemies even if she is 100% wrong. As a media personality with a platform to reach dozens of viewers as well as our enemies around the world, she has committed an act of treason against the United States.
The crazy thing is, after Brzezinski made this call for our enemies to attack us, not one single person on the show reacted. Not her husband with the big forehead, not the fat black lady, nobody. I guess when everyone is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, an act of treason seems normal and doesn’t illicit a response.
And really, this is all TDS. Brzezinski hates President Trump so much that she wants our enemies to come and destroy us rather than have him lead for another day. It doesn’t get any more deranged than that.
Maybe liberal MSNBC won’t take action, but the US government should arrest her and bring her up on charges. Death by firing squad is a little extreme in this case, but they should definitely throw her ass in a federal penitentiary for a few years so she can reassess her anti-American positions.
