GROUNDED!

By Ben Garrison

Nancy Pelosi continues to refuse money for Trump’s border wall. She claims it would be ineffective and immoral, even though she enjoys a wall around her mansion as well as the walls of Congress.

What’s really immoral is someone who has enriched herself through government. Her net worth is now around $120 million. Her main concern in life seems to be fundraising. She does that often and well. She’s notorious for her extravagant junkets and worldwide jet setting, which enables her to run up big booze bills on her flights—all paid for by the taxpayers.

dam Schiff was going to tag along for the ride with Pelosi, and so he naturally attacked Trump for refusing them free passage. Ostensibly Pelosi’s and her team were going to help encourage the EU and NATO, as well as the warmongering military-industrial complex that wants us to permanently stay in Afghanistan.

Pelosi can afford to fly on a regular airline if the PR trip is that important to her. Let’s hope there will be a few TSA agents still around to give her a good frisking.

The “Secret Research Project” – Why Did The IRS Give The DOJ Twenty-One CD ROM’s?…

By Sundance

In October 2015 the DOJ announced it was dropping the investigation into the IRS, Lois Lerner, and the unlawful sharing of taxpayer data in the IRS targeting investigation surrounding True The Vote et al.

As a direct consequence of the DOJ decision, congressional inquiry into the IRS targeting matter seemingly dropped from the radar.

However, if you draw a line from the original intent of the entire enterprise, the post-2010 mid-term “shellacking”/”secret research project“, forward to the 2016 election cycle an interested observer might still be left asking:

“why did the IRS, through Lois Lerner, deliver the 1+ million pages of tax filings, to include the entire donor list of Tea Party and patriot groups, through 21 CD-ROMs and not by electronic data transfer. Information that was specifically sent to Eric Holder and the U.S. Department of Justice”?

This is an obvious question which, despite the numerous congressional hearings on the matter, was never asked – nor answered.

Pornhub Reports Traffic Spike In Washington As Shutdown Drags On

Via Zero Hedge

our weeks into what has become the longest federal government shutdown in history, federal workers and lawmakers alike are finding ways to keep busy.

What’s more, not only has the site logged an increase in hours spent streaming its skin flicks, but the hours during which users are watching have shifted to include more weekday hours – suggesting that the temporarily out-of-work denizens of the capital are likely responsible for the surge. compared with levels prior to the shutdown, weekday visits have climbed more than 5.9%.

At Age 70, Time to Rethink NATO

By Patrick J. Buchanan

America is now burdened with the duty to defend Europe from the Atlantic to the Baltic, even as we face a far greater threat in China, with an economy and population 10 times that of Russia.

And we must do this with a defense budget that is not half the share of the federal budget or the GDP that Eisenhower and Kennedy had.

Trump is president today because the American people concluded that our foreign policy elite, with their endless interventions where no vital U.S. interest was imperiled, had bled and virtually bankrupted us, while kicking away all of the fruits of our Cold War victory.

Halfway into Trump’s term, the question is whether he is going to just talk about halting Cold War II with Russia, about demanding that Europe pay for its own defense, and about bringing the troops home — or whether he is going to act upon his convictions.

Our foreign policy establishment is determined to prevent Trump from carrying out his mandate. And if he means to carry out his agenda, he had best get on with it.

A Reminder From Tamika Mallory: When You March In The Women’s March You March Behind Anti-Semites

Via The Federalist

It’s clear that Tamika Mallory, co-president and founder of the Women’s March, is in way over her head in even a semi-serious discussion about the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Setting aside her anti-Semitism, this part of the interview is embarrassing on an intellectual level. Repeating the vacuous phrase “everyone has a right to exist” to distract from a simple question isn’t something a smart person does. So perhaps she’s just not educated enough to make her points cogently. Or perhaps she believes the things she does because she’s not educated on the issue. It’s difficult to tell. But the idea that she––and other similarly absurd figures like Linda Sarsour––have positioned themselves at the head of the activist wing of the American left is a sad statement about the movement.

Trump’s Shutdown Trap

Via The American Thinker

Has President Trump suckered Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy?  In only five more days of the already “longest government shutdown in history” (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more.

Don’t believe me that federal bureaucrats can be laid off?  Well, in bureaucratese, a layoff is called a RIF – a Reduction in Force – and of course, it comes with a slew of civil service protections.  But, if the guidelines are followed, bureaucrats can be laid off – as in no more job.

The Self-Destruction of LGBT Activism

By Michael Brown

Sometimes, in a debate or a court of law, the best way to let your opponent lose is simply to let him (or her) continue to speak. Soon enough, they sink their own ship. It’s the same with LGBT activism. The more “victories” it gains, the more it exposes (and destroys) itself.

Tolerance is not the goal. Diversity is not the desired result.

Instead, dominance is the goal and exclusivity the desired result.

In the end, no matter how outrageous the act, how perverse the deed, it must not be condemned. Rather, opposing voices must be condemned.

By default, these voices are wrong, while, in contrast, if the cause is LGBT, by default, it is good and right.
