Unless you are a liberal with your head in the sand pretending democrats aren’t the most racist people in America, you’ve probably heard about Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s racist yearbook photo. It came out last week that he put a picture of a guy in black face standing next to a person in a KKK robe and hood on his college yearbook page. Despite the fact that Northam is a democrat, an MSNBC panel just blamed this all on President Trump, because of course they did.
Northam thinks we’re all stupid and denied that he is either of the people in the picture and that he had anything to do with it being included on his own personal yearbook page. He also claims that he once did blackface for a Michael Jackson dance contest, but that’s definitely not him in his racist yearbook photo.
MSNBC also thinks we are stupid because they assembled a panel of “experts” to push the blame of the photo away from Northam and onto President Trump. Host Craig Melvin was talking to Princeton University Professor Eddie Glaude and wondered “waasup wit all dis blackface?”
“This is the third such incident that’s surfaced over the past, I think, three or four weeks….when did blackface become a thing again? Why does it seem as if blackface is all of a sudden front and center in America again? What’s happening?” Melvin asked.
“I think it has something to do with what Donald Trump has unleashed. It has something to do with the reservoir that’s underneath our politics that can always be activated at any moment. So it’s not like something’s new, something new has happened. It’s always underneath. It’s the undertow,” replied Glaude.
Really? Northam, a democrat, was busted doing blackface or KKKface in the early 1980’s, but really it’s Trump’s fault? Did Donald Trump go down to Virginia, find some unknown medical student who would one day be Governor of Virgina, and make him be racist? That’s absurd, which is exactly why liberals think it’s a reasonable accusation to make.
Speaking of which, MSNBC’s panel was in agreement that Trump is to blame for a democrat’s racism. Political analyst Zerlina Maxwell doubled down on this bullshit:
“You know, young children of color are dealing with kids saying ‘Build the wall,’ and so I agree with Professor Glaude, Donald Trump has normalized this overt display of racism, where it’ used to be impolite,” said Maxwell.
Just so we’re all clear here, a democrats’ racism from 35 years ago was exposed and MSNBC was focused on how racist Trump is. The panel couldn’t find any pictures of Trump in blackface or even him advocating the racist practice, but liberals aren’t really concerned with facts, especially when it comes to attacking Trump.
In another misstep, MSNBC actually “whitefaced” former Virginia Governor Doug Wilder, who was the state’s first black governor. MSNBC’s Ali Veshi finished covering VA Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax’s press conference concerning the sexual assault allegations against him. Veshi noted that if Northam resigns over the racism scandal that Fairfax would become the governor.
“Not the first African-American governor of Virginia, of course. Gene Wilder,” said Veshi.
Gene Wilder is the late great comedic actor from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and one of my favorites Young Frankenstein. He was white and never served as governor of Virginia. He did have a pretty sweet afro, but he was definitely white.
The complete lack of accountability on the left has finally collided with their bullshit “blame Trump” narrative and it’s a beautiful thing for them. Now whenever one of them gets busted being a racist bastard or a rapey asshole, they can just say it’s all Trump’s fault. Al Franken is kicking himself for not thinking of this before resigning from the Senate for groping all those women.
