I don’t know why democrats don’t write fantasy fiction because they have delusional versions of reality that would make some pretty messed up fantastic tales. Senator Bob Menendez says that illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes are not in fact criminals. Hey, he doesn’t think taking a bribes is a crime, so why would he think his party’s law-breaking base are criminals?

Wolf Blitzer asked Menendez about ICE requiring more funding and the NJ Senator said the agency has busted its budget by arresting people who he says are not criminals.
“The President’s zero tolerance policy that has turned everyone, regardless of their record, into a criminal. For example, if you cross the border undocumented he has now made you a criminal,” said Menendez.
Well no, our country’s immigration laws state very clearly that a person must have permission to enter this country. To do so any other way is a crime. Trump didn’t make illegal immigrants criminals, they did that themselves.
But wait, there’s more:
“If a person has a driving while under the influence violation, he is now making that, saying that that is a criminal,” Menendez said.
Stick with me on this one, Bob. It’s against the law in all 50 states to drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. That’s another way of saying it’s a criminal offense, not a “violation” as Menendez suggests. Bringing this all together, people who commit criminal offenses and are convicted of those criminal offenses are very appropriately called “criminals.”
Bob Menendez is actually trying to blame President Trump for criminalizing illegal immigration and drunk driving. Like I said, he should be writing stories about gay unicorns and the welfare elf queen.
ICE under Trump, just like under Obama, prioritizes illegal immigrants convicted of crimes for arrest and deportation. This is Menendez arguing that illegal immigrants should be allowed to drive drunk without fear of deportation, which actually the shittiest thing about his delusion. Americans have to face the consequences when they are arrested for DUI, but this democrat wants special privileges for people who are in this country illegally.
Okay, so we know what Menendez doesn’t consider illegal, but what does he think is a genuine crime? Luckily he had an interaction with a reporter today and let everyone know that he thinks asking questions is an arrestable offense:

You got that? According to Bob Menenedez entering this country illegally and driving drunk for illegal immigrants are not crimes, but a reporter asking him a question is. It’s pretty amazing that a guy whose job title is literally “lawmaker” has no f*cking idea what the laws are.
Also, doesn’t threatening to jail a reporter for doing his job constitute a a violation of the freedom of press? I know that when Trump says “fake news” the liberal media says he’s destroying democracy. I guess when democrats attack the free press it’s totally cool because they’re democrats and have special privileges like the ones Menendez wants to extend to illegal immigrants.
