While pushing their gun control nonsense, democrats always say that these are “commonsense” steps to keep guns out of the hands of bad guys. What they really mean is they are unconstitutional efforts to keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding Americans. There is however one group of people that democrats are cool with having guns and that’s illegal immigrants. House democrats rejected a bill amendment that would have notified ICE if any illegal immigrant tried to purchase a firearm. The only conclusion from this is that they don’t mind if illegals have guns, just Americans.
We already have a background check system in this country and it does exactly nothing to stop felons, teenaged gang bangers, and illegal immigrants from getting guns because they don’t acquire them legally in the first place. Making the background check system even less effective is the fact that almost no one is ever prosecuted for trying to buy a firearm when they are banned from doing so. Democrats want to expand this system, which is already shitty, making it extra shitty. And they want to make sure that part of that shittiness includes protections for illegal immigrants.

Democrats this week approved legislation to require background checks for essentially all sales and transfers of firearms — but rejected GOP-led efforts to amend the legislation to alert law enforcement authorities when gun buyers, including illegal immigrants, fail those background checks.
Republicans in the House charged that H.R. 8, known as “The Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019,” should have included Florida Rep. Greg Steube’s proposed amendment to require that law enforcement be notified “when an individual attempting to purchase a firearm fails a federal background check.”
“Clearly, the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee don’t care about preventing gun violence, they simply are playing politics with Americans’ Second Amendment rights. The fact that Democrats do not want law enforcement notified if an individual attempting to purchase a firearm fails a background check is truly troubling,” said Steube.
Troubling? More like completely consistent with democratic bullshit.
“In rejecting this amendment, the Democrats have shown their true colors. It is clear they are not interested in preventing gun violence or stopping the illegal purchase of firearms, but rather they are only interested in limiting the rights of law-abiding citizens to advance their own political agenda,” Steube said.
Gee, wasn’t that already painfully apparent? When have the democrats every proposed gun legislation that wasn’t designed to punish law-abiding guns owners while rewarding the criminals? Again, this is nothing new for the democrats. They’re all about stomping the 2nd Amendment and they’ve never tried to hide that fact.
Fellow Florida Republican Rep. Gaetz went even farther, tying democrats’ gun hypocrisy to their illegal immigration hypocrisy:

Do you see a pattern emerging here? Democrats don’t think being in this country without permission is illegal. They don’t think illegal immigrants voting is illegal. They don’t even think when illegal immigrants commit crimes like DUI that it should qualify as a crime. Now, they’re jockeying for a system where it will be easy for illegal immigrants to get their hands on firearms.
But if you are a law-abiding American citizen who wants to exercise his or her 2nd Amendment right of gun ownership, democrats say “f*ck you.” According to the democrats, guns are too dangerous for average Americans to own, but in the hands of illegal immigrants they are fine.
As if there was any doubt, this move reinforces the fact that democrats put illegal immigrants above the American people, who they are supposed to represent. It’s not shocking that democrats push control and it’s not surprising that they favor foreign invaders. The only thing stunning is that any actual Americans still vote for these leftist clowns.
